I have this 14-page road test ("prove su strada") of the Espada in the October 1970 issue of Quattroruote. It's all in Italian.

Is this something that you Espada enthusiasts already have? It's a bit difficult to scan and copy, as the magazine if fairly thick and doesn't want to sit flat on the scanner.

Here's a few more. Note the Caution placard to the right of the center console just to left of the radio.
That's the warning about going over 100 mph with the windows open.

I don't have this one. Love to have a copy if possible!

The Concorso site says "Monterey Bay" -- which sounds a bit wet to me.

Still, I have my ticket and by God I'm going to show up...wherever.

Cheers,

For me too, the Espada is the most incredible 4-seater in the world. A beautifull car.
A man from Holland gave me the 3 photos some 25 years ago. Unfortunatelly, I can't remember his name. He sold the car because he wanted a Bugatti!

I've got a photo where we can read the plate, it's little more optimistic We can read: " CAUTION Do not lower windows at speeds in excess of 120 M.P.H. " The interior looks tired.

S3

Another S3 needing attention: This is a very early S3, no 9044. The big rubber bumpers are not still there...

I took the following photos in France in 1986. There was a shop near my hometown with this Espada. The owner was a German. I can't remember why, but I noticed only the engine number #40313. I don't know the location of that car today.

Thats no way to treat a Espada by placing a cobra body over it. .
