Of course... you'll need to make sure all the campaigns are up-to-speed especially the cam variator campaign. I had a year 2000 360 and there was a long-ish list of campaigns I had performed on my car all of which, and perhaps more, will be required for yours.

Car looks amazing... black on black... very cool.

    Good luck with the PPI.

I havven't seen many black 360's on the market lately for some reason. It is a fair price, not high, not low IMHO. RTGT is a reputable seller so that is good also.
    Hope the PPI goes well!

Just ask for the service records, they indicate the campaigns that were done.

What RTGT says is True they are very reputable and no BS. All cars they sell have all campaigns done and they service them as well. IMO I agree with the price a little high but not too high. Nice deal $105k but then again you have tubi, challenge grill etc.

Make sure to check on the clutch wear, tires and brake and rotor wear on the ppi.

Low miles for the year, shields, grills, looks like H-Fi, calipers...with all servicve records, and campaings done..I would say the $112k is a steal...

wondering on this too, I was under the assumption, that the 30k was done in 05 as its a 99, then in 2011 I take it in again for 30k.

thanks guys for all the other comments, I love feedback no matter if its good, bad, ugly

It's a 1999, had a 15k service recently but should have a 30k service due at 6 years (pulleys, tensioners etc).

Are you possibly confusing a 30K service with the timing belt service? According to FNA scheduled maintenance, the timing belt service is recommended every 3 yrs. or 15K miles, whichever occurs first.
This service consists of, replace timing belts, tensioners, and accessory belts. Adjust belts, SD2 test, reset Montronics, bleed coolant system, road test.

The 30K service is done at 30K miles.

Oh, I did not note that it had a 30K service in 2005. Did I miss this in the add or did you get this info elsewhere?

Beautiful Car, looks excellent and pretty loaded for the Model Year, the price seems fair for someone who wants that color car with those options.

Why would you put money down on it, order a PPI, and THEN ask if it was a good deal?
    Just curious....

I originally stated 30K and edited my post after contacting three authorized dealers who stated 15K. That just wasn't sitting right with me so I contacted the horses mouth, FNA who confirmed 30K. It's unfortunate that some of the authorized dealers whom we typically rely on for service recommendations and or general inquiries were unable to offer correct information on one of the most widely discussed and controversy items ever in Ferrari service.

just making sure I feel good about the purchase, I only did 1k deposit, and haven't even been charged yet for the PPI, so I would only be out 1k if I wanted out today or tomorrow.

PCH: about the service, I was under the assumption that the 30k is after 30k miles or 6 years, which ever comes first, correct? and if so, the 30k should have been done in 05, they have the full service records for the car so I'm assuming theres one on it with 30k mile service when he says all service records?

A 30K service is typically completed at 30K and has nothing to do with time UNLESS prior recommended services were not completed or a problem occurs such as leaking cam seals and gaskets. Of course its quite possible that the car in question didn't require the full 30K service but was completed regardless.

I know it's not on topic, but I read something that interested me...

    "would only be out $1k"

Let's say for whatever reason he decides not to buy the car, would he or should he expect to be out the $1k deposit???

If it were you, would you expect to be out the money or would you expect the dealer to refund the deposit after you decided against the car???

If the car has all service and recalls up to date it's a good deal. Low miles, lots of options and the black is just beautiful.
Also the 99 cars are slightly faster, no pre cats and no air smog system. I have 26K on my 99 360F1 and have never had a problem and contrary to what some will say the F1 works perfectly, you just have to know how to an F1!

If the PPI checks out, I say go for it.
