While waiting on Clive's Mondial replacement fusebox which we all are looking forward to, I heard that GT Auto Parts was making an upgraded replacement for the TR. After reading some of the TR' guy's woes about their fuseboxes, they are in the same boat as Mondial guys with their circuit panel delaminations. Just thinking about it, the Mondial and TR have fairly similar electrical systems and were designed at similar times. So, I thought it would be interesting to see what they looked like side by side. The similarities are amazing, the exact same size with the ONLY difference being the large wiper timer module. But, most importantly, notice that the plugs from the car harness are about identical with exact matching connector holes and types!! Does anyone (Daniel?) have a map of the TR box (87 shown) and a Mondial box that we can closer compare?

Ferrari is now supplying the TR box when one is ordered for an F-40 as well. Discontinue the F-40 fusebox part number, rebox the TR fusebox and jack up the price sky high to accommodate the new application. Good news is there is still a part available for the F-40, bad news is the replacement part for the TR is now approching 8-10% of the value of the car. They are all very close to one another.
