The sides show a little of the Testarossa with the ´swoop´ across the rearwheels. The rear is downright agressive. Headlights are a bit generic and therefor a let down. The hoodscoop is a pretty cool gesture to the GT California of the late fifties, early sixties. To me the car looks the part. These pictures probably don´t do her justice. A red Ferrari in a rather dull studio-environment makes the car look more anonimous than it would be when you saw it outside on the road surrounded by other cars. The wheels look pretty basic but I like them. Not quite sure what colors would be best. Bright colors will emphasize the agressive lines of the car while more sedated colors like azzuro california or grigrio alloy will put the focus on the elegant lines. Wonder what it looks like with the top up.
Looks like an illicit love child of a TVR and a Lexus LF-A with some nostalgia bits trown into the front. It's getting silly. Ferrari hasn't had a truly elegant or exotic looking car since the 456 and the 355.
I think that car will be stunning in a silver/grey/dark blue and blacked out taillights/removed California script. Red isn't the best color on that car. All in all, I'll give it a thumbs up
Pretty amazing car! The bottom part of the back (exhausts) does look a bit strange... The wheels are a bit basic but I like 'em too. Way better than the standard "star" 599 wheels! Yep... the only thing that doesn't convince me is the bottom part of the back. From the side it looks very similar to the 8C Competizione Spider...
Urgh. I hope it's just the perspective, but the front and the rear look somewhat ugly. Far too much lines and shapes in the rear, and the side view... well... could be worse... That being said, it might grow on me.
Blatant pandering to the California GT while not really providing a modern interpretation. The rear is pretty bad. People will no doubt buy it, but wow, what a lost opportunity for Ferrari. Marketing is king.
