looks like its well on its way to being just fine! the carbon fiber is green like the nose cone... looks like it needs headlights and a paint job.

Can't see a problem - they seem to be replacing rather than repairing most parts and are showing the whole story. When finished I'm sure it will be good as new - so it will be a bargain because noone will pay full price for it!!

Least it being repaired and it looks good to me. The only thing i thought was silly was the sales line, "this is the one that Eddie Griffin wrecked"

Any ideas on how much this car would go for after the work is done?

I called the dealer and spoke with "Matt" and he told me they are looking for 1.2 million but would "let it go" for 1.1 million. I couldn't contain my laughter, WTF? 1.2 million for a salvaged, non factory, uncertified repair. If someone is willing to pay that I know of a very nice bridge in New York I may be able to interest them in as well.

LOL. That is ridiculous. 1.2?? 600-800k sounds a bit more reasonable.

The is definitely a "story" car and the seller can't be accused of burying the lead by making this statement.

In their defense, it is not salvaged. And not even close. It really should be marketed as a "damaged" car.

I would also be concerned with the state of the Mechanicals. The cost to repair mechanicals on this car, should they need them, could be very high. I'd watch the movie before making an offer and find out what was and wasn't tended to. I'd also hook it up to an SD2 and see what that says about how it was used.

It is surprising that the car did not go back to the factory. That would be the end of the story. I wonder if the hit on eventual selling price will be more than the extra cost of the factory doing the repairs

No profile and trying to sell cars for 1mil+? IMO, getting into the game at the Enzo level could prove to be quite a challenge. For this type of accident, most buyers will look for factory repairs.

I am sure he does. (12k posts, me 2) I am sure he will tell you that an owner of a Ferrari can ask whatever he wants. If I would have told you $800k could you write the check? Or, would you come to your message board and say that the seller is an idiot and wants $800k for some wrecked POS that wasn't repaired at the factory.

Let me say this: I am not here to pick a fight.... This is what we do for a living. Buy and sell these type vehicles. We do this at a wholesale level and ship all over the world. For example, some of our current inventory is 06 MB SLR 722, 05 Murcielago, 04 360 Spider, 06 430 Spider, 05 CGT, 05 Ford GT, etc. We build and race BMWs at a club level. I have been messing with them since 1982. My head mechanic is a Ferrari guy and I must admit, they are growing on me. They do everything we want in our race cars. Plus, they sound like no other... Although, the CGTs sound pretty nice too.

So, that's it guys. I am wise enough to know that I will never win any pissing matches on a message board that I don't have a "profile" and have visited for the first time today. I am not here to sell you any of my inventory... It's much easier to wholesale. So, if you wreck your car I am a buyer. Will pick up anywhere in the country.

    Take care, Matt

Curiously, not on the site anymore... (if it is, I can't find it... link doesn't work and a search for Ferraris for sale doesn't show it either)

I don't care how good a given private shop is, an Enzo should (IMO) go back to the factory for any major repairs to be made "right" - but that's just me.

A bit defense aren't we? No one has attacked you, I did not call you an idiot at any point those are your words not mine. I do find the price point absurd. A friend of mine has a perfect 9,000 mile car available for 1.2 million. I have nothing to do with the car other then fact he is a friend. Asking 1.2 million for 6,800 mile damaged example with no factory repair is rather odd. I called on behalf of a client/friend that asked me to inquire about the car as he thought he would offer 700k for the car,he thought it would make a good track car. I have found several cars for him including another Enzo, so I called on his behalf. Weather or not I can pay for said car does not in anyway reflect said car's value. Although If the car was of fair market value it may have been purchased by my client. You have come here with a negative attitude stating that your not trying to sell any inventory, which you go on to talk about. No one is going to get into a "pissing match" with you, people are simply discussing the car.

I think I saw a post once by Napolis concerning a picture of a burnt heap of rubble of what was once an Enzo. According to him the "car" was rebuilt.

I have no idea as to the cost of rebuilding such a car, but it is obviously less than whatever the market value of a complete car was at the time. I'm sure even a burnt pile of carbon fiber, rubber, aluminum and magnesium, as long as it has an Enzo serial number, has several hundred thousand dollars of value to it.

This thing is more or less a complete car. At $600k or even $800k I'd think the car was a steal.

As for the actual value though I haven't a clue :)
