Wow!

The exact opposite of the VIR photos. YUCK! Isn't there an erase button for that post?

Thanks for sharing the dark side.

Jon,

Thanks for posting the pictures. Perhaps the best picture was the one we didn't take of a particularly low slung Fierrari in front of us at the toll booth sporting the throw down: "Yes it's fast, and no you can't drive it."

I am already hard at work on my Corvette based 550 replica. I hope to have it ready for next years' nationals.

Dave

oh my goodness

I'm intrigued by the 3-wheel deathtrap; how do you even sit in it? the steering wheel in your crotch and you legs resting on that sloped carpet down to the pedals? If only they had used shag carpeting . . . ... .

Some one should also give FNA a heads-up before the next one of these shows; one of the fine FNA lawyers could just bring a stack of the SpA cease and desist letters and pass them out . .. .

for a replicar , you put 100's of hours into a fiero or miata, only to have a car that would not be worth anything and guys who know...even Puff...will giggle at you like school children when they see you drive one. why bother? ! when you can get a real fcar for 40k and up...

sort of like a faux Gordon Gartrell shirt

ps cobras excepted

That looks like one of the Rolex series cars. Probably weighs 2100 pounds with 600 plus hp = sick! Front shot reminded me of the Maserati car.

Very nice and blindingly fast I'm sure.

regards

Fran, are you migrating from GT40s.com?! BTW, loved the Gulf flares on that yellow one.

I do like the SLC. I was surprised by how complete it was. The name made me think it would be much more bare bones and smaller. I agree with Ken that it looks like a modern proto-type car. Well done.
