    Hi guys,
    I pitched a show idea at the Network and they bit! It is called 'Forum Wars'......finally a chance for the different online communities to put up or shut up....and in some cases CLEAN HOUSE! It would pitch the two 'Top Dogs' from Viperalley, Supraforums, Ferrarichat, **********, EvolutionM, Rennlist and or 6speedonline and FordGTforum to compete for their community to be crowned King! It would feature several different venues, which include quarter mile, standing mile, top speed and a road course like Willow Springs in California. The show will be covered by TV, magazines and of course each forum! Now the only question is who is game???

    is the idea to have one car represent each community? and Im curious as to the limitations to the car(s) in question....street legal or anything goes?

    Cool idea. Gotta like ViperAlley/VCA's chances even sans PMUM. Maybe put 'em all in shifter karts for the last event?

    Good idea, might as well include corvetteforum.com in the mix, you know there is always people there looking to establish supremecy.

    Great idea!!! I second Corvetteforum.com or maybe digitalcorvettes.com. I have a Vette and an F-car and both groups of enthusiasts are awesome!

    There are only TWO cars per each forum allowed. It going to be up to the individual forums to pick their top dog to represent them at the shootout. The two finalist I will review for the final approval. It's open to anyone that the forum selects. One car can only represent one forum! Egg...If someone with a Porsche wants to be a participant, then either 6speed or Rennlist will have to nominate him first.

    I have Posted this for Vipers, Corvettes, FordGT's, Porsche's, Supras and several other forums that have reacted in a similar way.. We need to pick two cars two here.. This is about the cars, you may switch drivers, tires, gas, brakes, readjust suspension, etc (will be defined when the cars have been selected)... The ONE rule that I WILL ENFORCE is that the car has to have current REGISTRATION and INSURANCE and that it has been that way for at least the past twelve months! Lets get some cars nominated!!!

    A lot of guys here have some great cars that could probably hold their own against many. That being said though, is this limited to Ferraris because this is Ferrarichat, or do they just have to be a member?? IMO, it would be odd to have, let's say, your 996 Turbo up representing FChat (not that I wouldn't want it to be). It would just look better from an outsiders point of view to have the best Ferrari we can find to represent the forum. Just my humble opinion. Love the concept of the show though!

    I nominate JG and the p4/5. Not saying I think that his car is a garage queen, but if it is a Ferrari, it is meant to be driven to things other than car shows and parade laps. Enzo did not make museum pieces, he built racecars.

    I doubt it, just a few jabs at him lol There are better choices for cars anyway.

    That sounds like a damn good TV show!. Id defnately watch it!


    Finally perhaps we can end these 100pageflame wars on the lamborghini section on this forum.

    VR you have offical become the Don King of the forums :D.

    Alex probably got soo sick of people nagging on him after his 996 hit the small screen he threw Speed the idea. So are you hosting it Alex? Sounds like an awesome idea although it could be a never ending battle between forums although it'll make great tv!!

    Yes, unless I find a host, I will be hosting the show (that would mean Tanner driving)....lets get some two Ferrari's to REPRESENT!

    (Gothemi8... this is any participants opportunity to take on my turbo...I know HENNESSEY wants a piece... should make a good race :) )

    So I'm thinking the show will be a series over these various competition events, with each show featuring a different event. That's part of the idea, right? So will the show consist of these various venues on separate days and at different locations?

    This sounds very interesting, I like the idea.

    Fantastic idea! This will surely be a show to watch.

    +1 for either Huberts 360TT or a Novitec F430 (anybody willing to do a Novitec conversion on their Scud ?)
