I have been to the Paris show a few times. Not as good as Tokyo, Detroit or any of the European shows, but still worth a visit.
But don't go to Paris JUST for the show, you'll be dissapointed.

Adelaide Motor show would have to be the worst in Australia unless Darwin or Hobart have one.

Not as interesting as Geneva, can be very crowded, narrow walkways and crowding make visibility difficult. Catering is tres ordinaire. Retromobile is the best Paris autoshow.

Lots of other motoring sights in France of course, Le Mans museum, Mulhouse Museum, etc.

Went yesterday and today. The environment is the main theme. Hybrids everywhere amongst the mainstream manufacturers. The busiest place was around the Ferrari stand although there was a queue to look at the Nissan GTR too.

It is a huge show - Sydney or Melbourne would fit easily into any one of the 8 halls. The crowd wasn't too bad early in the day but quickly builds. Every manufacturer seemed be here except Holden ;)

The California looks good - makes the F430 look pretty old.

    Here's a few assorted pics.

It is a kit car! It has a Camry engine FFS!

I haven't had time to get to the show this week, but the car showrooms on the Champs Elysees are in motor show mode and have a number of interesting prototypes in them - worth a look if you're here over the weekend. Toyota have the Lexus supercar concept from last year and Renault the new Megane coupe.

ps. thanks for posting the pics.

I think they could wind up selling a lot more Californias in colours other than red than has been the norm.

the 7 series seems to lack everything when compared to an S class? I thought they would have tried to make it less plain... :S

Thanks for sharing the pics! cool.

These little things look like those cartoon accidents where starts off as normal car and goes between trucks in traffic and both car and driver squashed flat lol
