So I was wondering if any other F-chatter's attend the Biff Buzby's car meet every Friday night at Toepperwein and I-35? Seeing its close to where I live I go pretty much every friday night and thought it would cool to meet some other F-chatter's that maybe go too. The exotic car scene is pretty much non existent there unfortunately, but there is a ton of really nice muscle cars, Vipers, Ford GT's and some of the Corvette club shows up with some really nice modified vettes and occasionally a Ferrari or Lamborghini or other exotic will stop by for a bit. So if you do go I hope to see you there tonight!

    Thanks

I hate to break it to you, but you're a bit late there C.

The turnout was huge for a weekly show. I'm not much into the muscle car era, but there were some very neat cars present. Pictures to follow soon. . . .

I saw that too, forgot to mention it. Did you happen to park your titanium Lotus in the Alamodome parking lot on Fri. night? I saw one there.

Wife and I usually go every other Friday. Our friend has a Red Z06 he supercharged....Said he'll take me for a spin if I head by his lot when he gets off....Tempted, but man, 700hp. I've seen a couple Ferraris over the past couple weeks. It's a good crowd to be around. I didn't realize that was your brother John, I'll tell him hi next time I see him.

Were you in one of the 80's RX7's the other night? I saw two or three of them crusing around the show with each other.

Friday was a nice day at biffs.

A stunning white 1989 Ferrari Testarossa showed up. 20 years old, and that car is still a huge crowd turner. In addition to that a brand new solid grey Viper ACR was present. It was good to see one in person, as the ACR will likely be the ultimate series of Viper with production on the Viper series set to end this year. This show's interesting, as a variety of classic muscle cars show up as well. Some 55' Chevy, Camero SS, Pontiac GTO, Mustang, Corvette Stingray, Ford bucket, hotrod, and rat-rod cars. Typical modern performance cars include various Corvette, Viper, Mustang, Mitsubishi Evo, Subaru STI and various other cars. A Ford GT, Lamborghini Gallardo, or Ferrari will show up occasionally. But each week there are different cars. For example, I've seen 10+ different Vipers and 20+ new model Z06's at this show, but they are never all here at the same time. People will start showing up around 7:00 pm and leave after 11:00pm. The rice burners typically drive through after 9:00 pm, but it's mostly in the clear before that. Good show to talk to and meet other people though, especially if you're into muscle era cars.

    Here's a couple of Friday's highlight's.

...would you say this is worth the trip for someone not already in the neighborhood?..everything i've read about the regular gathering indicates that it's primarily a domestic/muscle/classic event...

On Friday, after many people had left a thing of the future showed up.

This is a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS pre production test car. Pre production cars are basically finished road going cars tested by the factory to find and work out any bugs that are found before consumer release. Of course, this car has an extremely early vin # which I got. I'd like to see where this car ends up in the future.

The car looks awesome in the flesh. I like the design much more than its fellow American competitors. Interior is finished relatively nicely in full leather and stitched seats. The engine is a 400hp LS3 from the Corvette C6, as I've heard. The color is yellow (like bumblebee) and this was a true crowd turner. Something about a new design never seen in person really seems to grab literally everyone’s attention. According to my sources, the car won’t be available to the general public until spring.
