Q for the Dad's about baby friendly cars

So, I'll need a car for the summer in CT

I really LOVE the new Caddy CTS-V

but is the Buick Enclave SUV a better car for having a baby or bigger kids than a sedan ?

Congrats on the upcoming baby.

Just bought the wife a Mazda CX-9 recently for our 3rd addition. Nice looking car, drives great.

Really, though, for just one kid, any car will do.

Dom

I just had a 2009 XC90 V8 R-Design for the week of my racing championships. It's actually a fantastic car, but it's getting long in the tooth, as they say. The V8s great, good brakes and handling, but it's spendy brand new and lacks a number of features you'd expect at that price point. I think the way to go would be a CPO 2008 Sport (same car, different name).

William, what you really want, is a Dodge Grand Caravan.

I have 3 kids and have never owned a mini van (or other type of kid friendly car).

buy a 4 door sedan that you like and be thrilled that you don't have to have a SUV or van......that is unless you plan on being like the Dugger family (www.duggerfamily.com)!

There is a CTS wagon coming out. Not sure if they will do a V spec.

This thread reminds me of the Carrera 4 I once saw on Michigan Ave, two child seats squeezed in back (both occupied), wife in the passenger seat and a big roof storage container on top.

We put 2 car seats in my grand prix (similer sizea s cts-v) with no problems. And if it wasnt for winters, id replace the GP with a CTS-V. Instead it will either be an audi A8 or STS AWD
