I'm just curious, are there any specific reasons you chose to do this?

As a comment, we are in the process of redoing a Daytona gearbox that has never been opened. And it reminds me a of the Forrest Gump movie; "life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get".

Several. This engine and gear box are basically irreplaceable. After using them for years we noticed wear in the gearbox and wanted to get the original systems such as mechanical fuel pump and magnetos running properly which they never really did. We also wanted to restore engines original hand cranking ability.

Sal felt that the place to have this done was Modena so that's what we did. Really looking forward to getting her back on the road.

We're returning her to her Turin GP winning livery for a change as well.

Is it running on the stand there? Do you have a pic of the car?

One of the best rides I've ever had - this car in Sicily at the track. Lovely to see the drivetrain that was source of so much amusement. Enjoy it in good health.

Were mixture of ZF/Porsche syncros and other parts were used on it?
