Lamborghini Sarasota
Well I just stepped into the new Lamborghini dealership in Sarasota. It is located behind the excellent BMW hub on Clark Rd., (get one of each). Anyway, no sign out front as yet but they do have inventory. I met the owner and his lovely wife at the St. Armands event last weekend. It was at the Jetport reception that started out the festivities. This is Victor Young and his wife Tia:
Note- First I had to shoot without any light and today I had to shoot into the sun. I am not sure as to why but I just never get the easy shots. aehaas

Nice.
Only and hour + or - from me in Naples. Just not sure that more Lambo dealers opening now is the best for the other dealers but that's not my issue. I guess Naples is next? Maybe one in every town?

I hope he is going to have some other brands on hand so that he can actually SELL a few cars! Otherwise he will just be looking at a lot of money tied up sitting on the showroom floor becoming worth less and less every day... Hey, that is kind of like my 401k but I don't actually have anything to look at or touch with that... other than a statement that I don't want to open!
Bad timing, but maybe he can surpass the other guys or sell some nice used stuff and make money on that... I wish anyone starting a new business in this economy the best of luck and great success. We need people spending money and hiring folks to do some work if we are going to get out of this mess any time soon!

Not to turn this thread into economics or politics, but people will start something new and hire people when there's a reason to believe in the United States again.... Not with the current administration I'm afraid.

When the owner was negotiating with Lambo, scouting out the site, engineering his building, impact / environmental assessment etc etc....he probably started back in the middle of 06. It's just bad timing. Who could have started any project in 06 would have predicted the fruition would come where we are....economically. I just hope he has the wherewithal to ride this out. Since this downturn is affecting all segments of the economy, it's probably more difficult to have monies from a profitable investment to cover the losses on the laggard. Lambo Of SRQ is actually on N 301 next to Custom Cart....
Not behind the BMW dealer that was just a holding garage until a store front was found
