Anyone want my 4-poster lift?
So I sold my 456GT a few weeks back and my auto lift just doesn't get any use. I just dissasembled it and loaded it into my one ton, and holy s**t is that thing heavy! My wife just convinced me to get rid of it instead of storing it at our facility in Issaquah.
So anyhow, if anyone wants it for $1750 delivered, hopefully close to Bellevue, then I'll do it. No response and I'll delete this post and run it to my storage. Not on Craigs List or anywhere else just thought I'd try here :-), and it's only about a year old. It's a Danmar D7, lifts 7000lbs. See specs and pics below. PM me Overall Width: 105” Outside Length: 170-1/2” Overall Length: 203-1/2” Height Columns: 82” Minimum Runway Height: 4-1/2” Maximum Rise: 70-1/2” Maximum Lifting Height: 75” Width Between Columns: 92-1/2” Runway Width: 18-5/8” Width Between Runways: 37-1/2” Length of Runways: 160-1/2” Locking Positions: 10 Lock Spacing: Every 4-1/2” Lifting Time: 45 Seconds Standard Motor: 110 VAC 60Hz. 1Ph Last edited by '77 308GTB; 06-06-2009 at 09:03 AM. |

Very happy. Todd and his guys delivered the lift and set it up within a couple days at a very reasonable extra cost. As you can see I can now easily detail the lower part of the Maserati Quattroporte and give the 360 wheels and under pan a good cleaning. I can even add another car to the garage with the space under the lift. Very happy. FGM |

Dang! That's a killer deal from Costco. I wonder if the F40 will fit on one of these...

http://www.***************.com/car/172/Ferrari-F40.html Width between posts shown as 92.5" http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product...arStorageLifts Costco is including s&h in that price, generally no small amount due to the weight. Last edited by synchro; 06-18-2009 at 01:36 AM. |

Complete Equipment Maintenance. CEM Lifts.
Purchased both my lifts from them. Chris S. is a really great guy to deal with. Call him up and he comes out to spec and measure your space(s). By the time I came home from the office, the lifts were in. How much easier could it get. Oh and the best part...........very reasonably priced, and they are "local". |

Don't think so, too narrow.

I am looknig for one, but I do not think "delivered" would apply for me, unless you have a few weeks free time. Looks nice; best of luck on the sale.

I just went out and measured the F40 (remember, I have the 18" LM wheels on there). All measurements are approximate.
Front Wheels Inside to inside: 54" Outside to outside: 72" Front tires are approx 9" wide each Rear Wheels Inside to inside: 49" Outside to outside: 76" Rear tires are approx 13.5" each For comparison, the 512TR's rear tires were 53" outside to outside. My "little" garage has 3 doors across the front, but the third door is 191.5" wide. I want to put two lifts in there, side by side, so I can stack 4 cars on that side of the garage. I just called and talked to Chris as Kuzi suggested. He's calling me back with some info in a few mins. Does your F40 go on the lift easily, Kuzi? |

Just got off the phone with Chris. He's coming to install two of the 10,000lb versions on Wednesday of next week.
I could tell over the phone that he knows what he's doing. Thanks for the info, Kuzi!

Thats great Steve. I've been very pleased with CEMs lifts now for almost 2 years. Not only the lifts but Chris' after installation service.
I do not put the F40 on the lift Steve, so I can't help you with that. Although I don't see why it wouldn't fit up there. A good idea is to have a buddy watch your tires the first time you drive it on up. One thing to make a note of is that the ramps might still not be long enough for these low cars. My CS rubbed going on the lift the first time until I put two by fours under each ramp to decrease the angle of the incline going up to the platform. I've run out of room on MI for anymore cars, but I'm now trying to figure out some space to store more cars at the farm. I think I have room for 4-5 more w/ lifts!!
