NNO, I'll be happy to provide the Champaign after the babe-taste testing.

Jim, best of luck for the project. It'd be great to see a P4/5 competing on the track.

Given the current Pit Babe situation, you might want to reconsider!

All the best,
Andrew.
LOL, haven't worn a skirt in a while...but just maybe....

Hmm how about a wooden P4/5 Competizione!

If you feel you need some practice before the event, come to Scotland! Nobody will think it too unusual to see a gentleman showing off his skirt as long as it's tartan or multi-coloured at the very least. And nobody will laugh at you, as generally these things are generally accompanied by large socks adorned with a sharp knife.

All the best,
Andrew.

After my stellar performance behind the wheel, the pit biscuits will be compelled to shed their apparel, encouraging you to cascade the Grigio Ingrid libation down upon their undulating, young, lithe, nubile frames. You better keep a spare case of the stuff on hand.

Very well said, a point that should be seriously considered by anyone in any business situation!

I worked for a racing team campaigning cars (Ferraris) in both ALMS and ROLEX (Grand Am) owned by a friend with deep deep pockets! I was there from the start, helped get things off the ground, solicit sponsors, business plans, marketing plans, blah blah blah... I saw the amount of money it took to get it up and running and the amount it took to maintain. Racing is not a one man show, the day it becomes one is the day the definition of 'Team' is lost. If you don't have people willing to jump aboard you need to reconsider or be prepared to pay the price.

Best of Luck Nap, holla if you need a hand, you know where to find me... passed out under Brad's pool table lol lol !

Just my .02

I'd recommend Veuve Clicquot - not an eye-wateringly expensive brand, but it's my favourite. Somehow I can't really taste the added value that's supposedly in a bottle of Dom Pérignon or Cristal - they're nice drinks but I'd put them on par with Veuve Clicquot so don't reckon they're worth the extra money... at least on my palate anyway.

Maybe there just comes a point where there are diminishing returns for increased price and my expectations were unrealistic, or maybe the brand image is what justifies the price of those... not sure. Any champagne connoisseur in here who know?

All the best,
Andrew.

I played him on that table last weekend. It's easy to figure out where he spent his youth.

Well, Jim,

Since I have no techical background, no driverskills to be excited about and no real money, there isn't much for me to do to lend a hand. I will, however, try to attend the races and root for your team.

Again one of those initiatives that will be talked about long after. It is not easy to write Ferrari-history, but you are doing it again. Thank you for that!

Excellent.

It makes you wonder what the effect of all the media attention will be... is it an advantage or a disadvantage? It'll undoubtedly interest sponsors, but the competitor teams will probably also be interested in it too. Is there any way a competitor team could make use of this information?

All the best,
Andrew.

PS:
I really hope they don't find out about the hidden night vision equipment or the reversed polarity magnetised bodywork that'll protect the sponsor's decals by preventing minor collisions with other cars during wheel-to-wheel racing.

If you're at the Nürburgring in 2010, I'll be there cheering!

(Oh, and I might be the most qualified of all candidates for the pit girl tester job!! At least I'm able to communicate with them - and they'll be fascinated by the engineering talk I will inevitably bring up!! )

I took 3 years of German in high school, I remember nothing. Other than that, I would like to be a candidate as well

I have no taste for Champagne. I've had Dom and Cristal - never Veuve Clicquot though - and I don't like any of them. Champagne is just not my thing. But it is my life's dream to shake that bottle. I know Jim - known him for years now - I'm a fearless, quick learner with endless amounts of energy on tap and an unrelenting focus; if he'd humor me, I know in my heart of hearts that I could pilot P4/5 Competizione to a Le Mans win. And if need be, I could do it Chinetti-style, kicking the drunk co-driver out and donning a green jump suit so I could piss myself and no one would notice as I spend the the next 23.5 hours turning the wheel in anger for victory. I would be the unsung Tazio of the modern era, overcoming impossible odds.

After reading that, I think I better keep a spare case of cigarettes on hand. (Or maybe Viagra). (undulating, young, lithe, nubile? Are you married to Danielle Steele?)

No, I'm single. But sans racing, I've relieved a few choice beverages down the curvy, voluptuous bodies of past lovers. It makes for quite the evening, I assure you. Now if I could just get Jim to let me race for him, I'm certain the aforementioned end result would hold more weight as an experience as a whole.
