Service question

I have an 09 Galardo and was wondering if anyone knows if their is any sort of policy regarding first years service. I know with my Ferrari the first anual service was free, but the dealer is telling me that is not the case with Lambos. Does anyone know if this is true? Thanks in advance for any insights.

What does your "sales agreement" say?

Yes, it is true, read your manual...

At 1500 miles the first service is free of any labor charges. You only pay for fluids and filter...all other is labor free including a full 100 point inspection of car items to make sure it is doing right after the first 1500 miles.

This is not only in your favour but is probably designed to catch any items that may become major and expensive during the life of the warranty.

Or to patch them until the warranty runs out so they can charge you $1200 for things like windshield wiper arms. LOL

I could not find in my manual where it states this first service is free. What is frustrating is that I have called Lambo NA 3 times and had to leave callback messages, none of which have been returned. Unbelievable.

On the MY09 model year for the Gallardo the factory removed the "free" first service. In fact they have the first service at 7500 miles or one year which ever comes first.
