I was browsing through images at deviantart.com and stumbled onto these sketches by a design student, Vincdesign. I don't know the guy, but it always gives me hope when I see such talent directed at the future of Ferrari. Now, if we can just get him and others like him over to Pininfarina! Those are pretty nice but there are at least a dozen guys in school right now that are capable of even better work. Check out www.cardesignnews.com for some more decent portfolios of students. I think they might still have the CSS ferrari gallery on there somewhere. The problem is they get their hands tied once they get into the "real world". I'll try to find some of the old stuff I have from when we all did Ferraris in school.

step #1 is less over-regulation for the car industry (US bumper laws, EU pedestrian laws, etc etc). then design studies can become design reality, and not just mental masturbation for car enthusiasts.
