Cyndie is pretty damned fast in real race cars... Man, that's cool. I've raced with Matt Jaskol, Phil Giebler and a few others. These are great American drivers!
12th is not bad, for a pensioner. truth is, Schumacher probably doesn't drive karts much these days. A bunch of the drivers most likely just got out of these karts graduating to something else...
Agreed. You could put Fernando Alonso in a field of top Formula Ford drivers and chances are he wouldn't win.
Is their a min/max weight ruling for this class??? if not that is most likely what he is suffering from, the guys and gal ahead of him most likely lighter than him being that they are younger kids/adults.
Don't forget, he started, and ended, his heat in traffic. It's pretty expected he would be off the pace if he was always trying to pass. Mark
It has been real exciting to listen to the coverage and hear his name. I tried to get plane tix to Vegas and just couldn't make it happen. I think he's doing fine... lots of racing left and who knows how he's managing tire/engine alotments. There's a lot of strategy involved and this feild comprises of some of the worlds top karting pilots with strong team support. Schumi is on a new Tony package and not running the strongest engine (Leopards and Motories seem to be dominating). As far as pace goes... when the event started, he opened in the 2nd spot and others have just made more progress however- his fellow Tony Karter (Adrigo) turned fastest lap in the last heat race on the same package so I think the speed potential is there. A lot of guys will go "all in" early to start the feature out front... Schumi went from 27th to 12th in the first heat race. Yes, he's off the pace but his "peak performance" may still lie ahead, while others that start ahead of him may have already peaked. What a shame to hear Gary Carlton run such a solid heat only to lose 30 spots on the last lap! It's so damn exciting.... too bad they couldn't get video coverage! Great organization but they I don't think they knew how to exploit the talent they had on the grid... and I don't mean just Schumi..there's quite a few big names there!
Yes, there is a minimum weith. 385 lbs for his class. You get weight after the race as you come into the pits.
He is actually running a Vortex motor as all the Tony Kart guys. Leopard and Motori 7 is domination on the TAG classes. Schumacher is using ICC motors. (6 gears)
i see norbert haug saying something like ... ... michael who? Hold on a minute ...(damn sausage fingers) Hi Nelsinho my man... so you still want to drive an F1?
