My 99 Modena is leaking on several places. The hose behind the engine are leaking oil. I already replace the petrol hose so there are fine. You will see on the first 4 pictures.

But the worst leaking is on the F1 pump. As you can see on the pictures the leak is coming from different places. I check the F1 oil level and it is dry when the pump activates. I believe that when I run the car the oil is coming out in a big quantity because the oil is all over the place. I find out this when some smoke start to coming out from the engine. I thought it was on fire but I find out that when the oil reach the fire proof plate which is hot because the exhaust it start to burn.

Does anyone deal with this before?

One of the pics closest to the firewall looks like a powersteering hose. Check your powersteering fluid level if its leaking that bad the reservoir will be empty or close to it.

My 360 6-speed has exactly the same problem. there are still oil everywhere after I replaced all fuel hoses last month. I am suspecting the pneumatics actuator system. All the pneumatic hoses are oily, more oil leaks out when I squeeze the rubber sleeves. Have you check these pneumatic hoses? Locate the depression accumulation tank and follow the hoses coming out of it. Please let me know your finding.

Yes they are covered with oil too. I bought the hoses of the F1 canister and the ones behind the engine but I think the problem is more deep.

I had a Ferrari mechanic looked at the leak just now, he think it is the worn out oil vapor hoses.

After I almost took apart all the back of the car I finally found the problems of the leak.
First I start with the leak of the hose behind the engine. The problem was that the hoses were toast and oil came out of one crack. See picture#1. I just replace them with new ones.

Second was the big leaking on the F1 Power Unit. I first replace this hose (Picture #2, factory installed) this bastard was a crap! Good new is that Ferrari replaces it with a better one piece hose. After I spend two days looking for a small oil drop just under the F1 power unit I decide two take the power unit out. Before I start this big project I decide to read again all the threads related to F1 and oil leaking and I found that one of the members just adjust all the bolts. I start to adjust the bolts and nothing. Them I saw this littler domies(see picture #3). I think these are the actuators for each gear, I’m not sure. At the end the bolt that was causing the problem was the hardest to reach because the support bracket. I used a mirror and tied the bastard. Problem is gone, a least for now.

I took advantage of the situation and change the F1 oil, the gear box oil and the motor oil. I also re-adjust my recently installed Fabspeed test pipes and the Maxspeed exhaust, they sound amazing!! I will post a video soon.

I hope this help any of our members.

By the way I use RedLine D4ATF for the F1, RedLine 75W90 NS with a small portion of RedLine FR and RedLine10W40 for the engine.

Are those depression pipes in photo#1?
Those are my prim suspect too... so they are oil pipes, not air pipe?
