Looking at a Testarossa at a place called Caviar Dreams 615 N Cocoa Blvd Cocoa, FL 32922 Anybody have info on them and where I can get a PPI done nearby. Thanks for the help!
You should probably truck it down to Tim Stanford in Ft. Lauderdale, most of the Central FL guys with 80's cars use him.
Can't say I've ever heard of the dealer - perhaps someone closer has had a look. However, for that era of car, Tim Stanford would be the go-to guy in this area. He is perhaps 2 hours south of Cocoa in Ft. Lauderdale. (I know him by reputation, and a couple of social meetings at concours events only, but the reputation is extremely high. When I moved to Florida from California, even my mechanic on the West Coast told me to look Tim up when I needed anything. )
Wow! 2 hours....I thought you mainland guys had a Ferrari mechanic on every corner! LOL. Thanks for the help. I was hoping to find some place local but this might be the only game in town. Thanks again!
Speedworks...Speedwerks something like that. Others with direct experience can fill in the contact details. They MAY be the closest shop to Cocoa. Good luck wid' dat! KevFla
Yes, it's Speed Works. http://www.speedworksfrs.com/home.html Call Bill (407) 688-1120 or (954) 536-4308 SPEED WORKS 690 River Oaks Drive Osteen, FL 32764
I think I found it: http://www.speedworksfrs.com/contactus.html This look like the place? Looks like we found it at the same time! Thanks! Hey what is a fair price for a PPI for a Testarossa??
Okay, I was hoping that you didn't say red 'cause they have one of "those" as well Saw it parked in front of their lot... http://spacecoast.craigslist.org/ctd/1499221883.html
The weird part would be some cheap tacky non matching seat covers, make sure you see what's under them!... http://caviardreams.net/pictures/1441 Poor thing looks rode hard and put away wet to me, but if you want to go forward I'd send it to Tim in Ft. Lauderdale, there isn't anyone better on older Ferraris. Odd dealership, "Caviar Dreams"? Yet all they have in inventory is a bunch of cheap, older, pedestrian cars, and a couple of old Ferraris. There isn't much in that area. Cocoa Beach is an hour east of Orlando, 2.5-3 hours north of Miami/Ft. Lauderdale.
Thanks. Not the ideal car but he is working with me on a trade and some other options. If the mechanicals are sound...I got some ideas on the cosmetics.
