Hello guys, I'm thinking to upgrade my oem wheels to something decent.I'm wondering if 599 or 430 wheels would fit 456?What would you recommend, which models have same axle as 456?
I've got a set of 18x8+31 and 18x10+32 RAC Monolite wheels made for Champion Motorsports for sale that would fit nicely. $3500 located in San Jose CA http://media7.dropshots.com/photos/149/20090507/183034.jpg http://media8.dropshots.com/photos/149/20090507/183047.jpg Email me at [email protected] if you're intrested
Gumball- Those wheels are too narrow in front for a 456 and were designed for the V8s. That being said, FChatters have fitted 360 and f430 wheels, which are even narrower (7.5") than your wheels, with good results. 599, California, and 458 wheels have the wrong bolt pattern, 5X114 mm, vs the 456's 5X108 mm pattern. Hi, sounds like we might have to add spacers to 456GT? Looks pretty good from pics, any nicks? Any idea on the weight & will the Ferrari caps fit? Thanks.
Very lightweight being forged aluminum wheels (supposed to be lighter and stronger than the challenge wheels)... and no need for spacers because the offset is correct to be flush with the fenders. And yes, the ferrari caps fit. no nicks, cracks, curb marks, or bends... perfect wheels.
Tire Rack has the correct offset and width 18" BBS wheels for around $1K each. When choosing a model year, type in "2003". For some reason, that's the only year that shows wheels in addition to tires.
haven't decided if i am selling them yet. i have a set of factory modulars that i need to put on and decide which look i like better. according to BBS USA, BBS europe had a limited number of 19" versions made for a european tuner. which tuner - i have not been able to find out. when i contact BBS europe, they put back in touch with the same guy at BBS USA who had first claimed that i must be mistaken as only 18" versions are made for the 550/575 fitment. they are a pretty agressive setup akin to the novitecs but i think they could have gone wider in the rears which are 19x11 if i recall correctly.
Hi there, This is my 2003 456 MGT with my F430 19" OEM wheels set plus 15mm spacers. Alex Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Really great look with those wheels- I may need to think about mine (next year...). Here's my challenge style wheels. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Did you use the Miami seller's spacers and bolts? Were the spacers hubcentric or were the bolts just very long?
Yes- 25mm spacers that are hub cebtric so stock length bolts are used into the billet spacers. Offsets are pretty close to stock and they look good to me. The wheels are a year old now and still looka nd drive perfectly. I know people had major problems with this seller but I didn't know about that before hand and I was very happy with the quality of the wheels. But I really like the 430 and Novi styles shown and I think I may upgrade next year.
Also what do you reckon about these http://www.******************.com/ferrari-550-parts-ferrari-550-wheels-c-197_207/ferrari-550-novitech-nf2-race-wheels-and-tires-p-288 the back wheels pretty wide i wonder if it will fit?
If you want Novitec NF2s, our sponsor Exotica Motorsports has a much better price than that. I just bought a set from Jason at Exotica. Taz Terry Phillips
I've just had a set of these done for the 355, have ordered matching for the 456 ... pics as soon as they're all in and on... edit - obviously 550 wheels now on the 456, no spacers. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
That's interesting. I spoke to the guy on a set for my 997, didn't know he could make it for Ferrari & a 456!
Hi Also a good alternative is http://www.comp.co.uk/ Look for the model MO at They are available in 8x18, 9x18 and 10x18 They produce exactly what you need, you can choose your offset, bolt diameter and center bore. Prices are fantastic. Contact me for details. I have sent some pics from my Maserati Ghibli in another thread, these golden rims on my Ghibli are made from Compomotive wheels. The ordering is very proffesional, the service is the best i ever had with car parts. I've got drawings from the rims with exactly the measures i ordered, for some changes i made, i've got new drawings in 2 days. Production time was about 25 days. The finish is no concours condition, these are motorsport wheels, but quality is good. I know 2 other Maserati drivers (1 in UK, 1 in netherland) with the MO model rims and 1 308 GTS driver here in town the 3 piece modular rims (model TS). Very satisfacted. They also produce replica rims, for example the model for Lancia Stratos or race version of the 308 Ferrari and the Dino replicas. Daniel
