Does it happen every week? I am curious as Phillip and I went there this morning in the LP 640 and there was no one there. Loved the area and the drive to it, very nice, just wondering if there is a specific day and time that I may have missed. Planning on going weekly to meet up with everybody, weather permitting of course.

    Sorry we missed everyone.

First I've heard of it. If it's a weekly thing, I would love to attend as I'm just around the corner.

I like the idea of a C&C there every week.
Let's just start showing up and see what happens.
Do you think Saturday mornings starting at 9 a.m. would work for most folks?

Most people have already have gone from my understanding from Phillip. It is usually from 8-9 a.m. Supposed to be a good group.

Its actually a great venue and runs every saturday from 0730 to 0930ish. Its a random collection of people and cars which works very well. It is rather weather dependant but the last weekend I was there the turn out ranged from Muira, Daytona, and Maserati to Morris 1000 convertible, Lotus Cortina and old school Corvette, not to mention an early 60's fire truck. Its held at the coffee shop next to the Old Brogue and is informal to the extreme. Theres so many great modern and vintage cars in the area, but seemingly not the same car culture as say you'd find in Southern Cali and this is an attempt to bring guys, and gals of course, together. You can get your car fix in and get home without getting in conflict with the honey-do's..now thats a win/win.

All are welcome and hope to see you there.

Clean the roads, get rid of the salt, gravel, sand, and fix potholes THEN more people will come out. I hate winter ;)

I like you guys enough to not need a bunch of Ferraris to be there, always nice, but not needed to see friends.

    Wanna try without the cars???

If you all don't mind my visiting/joining in, I'd love to sneak out of the District, stop in, and say 'hi'.

Plus it sounds like the perfect excuse to hike the VA side of Great Falls.

I was unaware of any type of C&C at the village as well. I'm definitely in for a future date. I've done a few events in the past at Great Falls Park which is also a nice venue for get togethers.

    Regards!

I went a few times last fall; the first time I followed a 1920's racing Bentley into the parking lot. Very eclectic mix of stuff, mostly vintage euro.

Holy crap, I live a little over a mile away from there and had no idea it was going on!

It would be a good location for a gathering. The parking lot immediately in front of the coffee shop is limited, but there is other parking in/around the village. It's a high-income area with plenty of exotics, it has some fun roads nearby, and its convenient to the Beltway, 267, and 28.

I would certainly be up for this event.

It looks like I might also soon have a car worthy of attendance. (stay tuned!)

This whole thing started last Sep and it is very low key. There is a group on Ning called Great Falls Cars or something like that. 7-9:30 am on Sats when the weather (and the roads) permit. Warning though: the coffee and pastries suck!! I'll come out in a couple weeks when I get back from Europe and the weather has improved. See you all there. I miss the F car guys.
