I don't know. It looks too much like a pimped, bling, bling Matchbox.

His biggest mistake was putting a picture of the 250 GTO in the mix. The 250 GTO's curvaceous beauty makes all the sharp angles on the other car stand out.

It reminds me more of the illegitimate love-child of an Aston Martin DB9 and a Lamborghini Murcielago than it does any historic Ferrari. If not for the badges, I'd have no idea it was supposed to have any Ferrari heritage at all. :(

I'll say it's "interesting" because it allows me to avoid being impolite by calling it "horrific". ;)

    All the best,
    Andrew.

I've been following his work for awhile now. He is a very talented young designer but he has always had a very geometric, love it or hate it style. If you look at his early work forward it has a very distinct style that is instantly recognizable.

I like it! The overall homage disconnects at the rear though. Loose the rear grill and just put in 2 circular tail lights. I say build it! Race it!

That is fantastic ! Its not retro but it pays homage to specific styling traits and proportions.

That right there is what auto design should be all about. I would actually desire to own that car which is something I cant say for any current Ferrari or Lambo.

Although i like the over all design, its much to heavy handed and bulky to be Ferrari.. I see alot of Aston Martin current design concepts in this..

I kinda like it. I see a little One-77 in it, which isn't a bad thing...rework that front grill a little and then we've got something that looks fantastic.

I like it. It's much more interesting and tribute-worthy than the 599-based GTO.

Sorry, I think it looks like someones nightmare. A 250 exagerated frontend with a Vette middle and Lotus rear end.

Sorry the 612 GTO is trying to hard. That extreme wide track and the pinched middle section just don't work as a cohesive design. The front is so far out there it makes the front on the 458 look conservative. Because of the flared rear fenders the rear end itself looks like it was never fixed after the rear track was made so wide. The work done to present the car in various colors does look great with lots of views from various angles. C+

However what is the mid engine design with the #27 shown in a couple of the images? That shows a lot more potential. Would like to see more views of that car. It looks way better than anything hinted at so far for an Enzo replacement. Just who is designing the Enzo replacement; Ferrari or Pininfarina? As was noted Pininfarina did not do the Scuderia...

Looks like the new Camaro with a nose job. I'm going back to the "Pretty Girls" thread.

On it's own, it's attractive. However, it's defined by the original Series 1 250GTO, and demands comparison. Reminds me of the Miura redux several years ago, which IMO did no credit to the original, but was just a pimped-out redo. Those years are gone forever, and the foundations of Ferrari history need to be left alone, IMO.

I'd drive it! I thought the rear was more like a pantera at first glance.

As for Ferrari, I dont see them building that anytime soon. But great job nonetheless!

    Cheers

Because it's too innovative and actually good looking, Ferrari will not build it anytime soon ;)
