    Back onto the thread,
    Friday will be prologue at Mallala.....then two stages of classic adelaide finishing at the Southern town of Willunga with a street party, then a night stage hopefully of Willunga hill.

    Saturday will be 10 stages in and around the Southern Vales, lunch at Victor Harbor or Yankalilla.......At night will be bon fire BBQ at Penny's Hill Winery

    Sunday will be 10 stages and lunch at Maccesfield with stages leading into Strathalbyn.

    All up 190km of special stages, Classic had 200km of stages in 09 for $6850.00....

    This will cost $1950.00

    Good value in comparison and a good event

    The 360ch will be course car with Karl Malden "Streets of San Francisco" flashing light....and yup I can see simon doing the light through the window and onto the roof.....only problem we will need blue tak cos the light wont magnetize to aluminium!

    Its the cheapest tarmac rally with closed special stages in Australia

    That is good value,
    Bloody Targa has knocked us out of competing,though our logistics are somewhat
    more than most.

    $6850 for 200km is a lot of money

    Targa Tas is 500km for 7k....plus , plus, plus = 20k

    This event isn't financing somebody's lifestyle though. All the money is retained for the next event.

    Given that the roads sometimes have revenue raising measures in place when they aren't closed, the cost of entering the event could be a lot cheaper than the alternative. Give it a go, you could end up winning another trophy!

    More dough than Rob can rustle up with only 5 months warning. Gardening is cheaper and more fun. He prefers to compost. :p

    Looks like value to me though. :)

    dollar per km is better than classic adel.....the roads are different to CA and the event is run without profit motive in mind
