Does anyone have any pics of his 16M? My 16M was specified, based on his car (grigio opaco with yellow alcantara seats, black inserts). I found pics of his model here:- http://raccoon-shop.com/SHOP/bbr_234vr.html
Ferrari magazine issue 4 has an interview with VR and Stefano Domencali - at the end of the article there are several pics of the 16M in gunmetal grey and yellow along with Rossi's number 46 showing (it is Aldo Drudi's take on Rossi's ideal 16M following discussions). I think they are only artist illustrations so not sure the car was ever produced. Your car is definately along the same lines except for the highlighting of only half the car in part yellow paint and yellow alcantara.
ebay VR 16M http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BBR-2010-Ferrari-430-Scuderia-Spider-16M-BBR234VR-1-43-/150579627672?pt=Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item230f3ec698#ht_500wt_922
Cool to be different I guess VR is really getting used to public attention, so a little more would be OK
Suits VR to a tee. Very unique colour concept. Love how the yellow portions cover the alcantara seat on the driver side. I'd go for it if I had a 16m, just to be different. Thanks for sharing.
That's Harry's car - lovely! Heres the full set of pics. http://www.topazdetailing.com/gallery/ferrari/16m/
Think the yellow feature on the body panels comes from the GT3 he raced. Russell - any chance of posting the pics from Issue 4 if you have it? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Forgive the quality but here are pics of the VR 16M. I'm certain the pics are computer generated as they match the position and background of the 16M launch images. No idea if they actually made the car. The actual interview images show VR and SD sat in a yellow 16M. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think drop-dead gorgeous is an understatement The same goes for Valentino's 16M. I really hope that the car in those pictures is out there somewhere.
I seriously hope so too. You ar eright, drop dead gorgeous is an understatement for this gem. I'd do it if I had a spyder 16m. Seriously, thanks for sharing. It just goes to show how tiny touches of magic like this can make us so darn excited.
