Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experiences from a very memorable day. I think everyone knows the phrase, "the most fun you could have with your clothes on", this was one of those times and the best way to spend a usual work day sunny afternoon. Thanks to a very well known board member, I (and Lucas Scarfone) experienced something that I believe any true car enthusiast should try out. Stuart of GTA Exotics has created a program unlike any other in the GTA that I know of. 6 exotic cars, a full day driving and switching up cars as you go along, and some real nice roads. I have to say that Stuart is definitely a knowledgeable guy when it comes to how to experience each car the best, and truly just a great guy to talk cars with, you could tell that he loves this with a passion. Me being a huge car enthusiast and have had experience with these types of cars in the past, still had an incredible time, and as well Lucas could tell you that I had a permanent smile planted on my face (him as well). To the not as experienced guys that came on the cruise with us, Stuart took the time to show everyone the characteristics of how each vehicle worked and the best way of driving them, this gave everyone the confidence that they may not have had if left in the dark with what to do with something so expensive. The day lasted about 6 hours, with about an hour stop for lunch. Not only were these cars exotic, they were as well all modified to make them that much more unique. The cars we drove were as follows: - Red Ferrari 360 Spider F1 (Tubi Exhaust, painted wheels) - Red Nissan GTR (Custom body work, aftermarket wheels, lowered suspension, exhaust) - White Audi R8 V8 R-Tronic (Custom wheels, exhaust, body modifications, lowered suspension) - Red Dodge Viper (Painted wheels, custom exhaust) - Orange Lamborghini Gallardo 6spd - Wrapped Green Porsche 911 Turbo (painted wheels, ecu tune, exhaust) All in all, this was an experience of a lifetime. Met some great people, and would definitely do it again without thought! For pricing and more detailed information, call Stuart or check out his website! If anyone wants, I will share each cars experience if there is a specific question you want to know about any of the cars. I will post pics from my camera as well.
Well known? For good things I hope? Glad you had fun dude. It was good to hear that Lucas was there too. I didnt know he'd be there too. So now I hope too see even more pics! I spoke to Stu yesterday and he had just done another of these events. This time with helicopter in tow and all! Now lets just hope that Stu will join the Italian event with some of his Italian cars!
All I can say is WOW, what a great day! It truly an unforgettable experience getting to drive these 6 cars back to back on the best roads Southern Ontario has to offer. Stu was great and really encouraged everyone to have fun and enjoy the cars. For any automotive enthusiast this day is a MUST, especially if you've never got the chance to get behind the wheel of an exotic before. Everything is included in the price (gas, lunch, etc) so all you have to worry about it getting behind the wheel and having a blast! Highly recommended. FYI - I've been hearing loads of bad press on GTA Exotics. Check out Rennlist.com on the Canadian Section under "Questionable Ethics?" Seems they signed up for the Yorkville Exotic Show that was held downtown a few weeks ago, they had committed a few of their cars, showed up late, displayed their cars in the wrong place & handed out flyers (which was not permitted) and now are not paying the registration fee that was intended to go to Charity.
again, this perception that everything at everytime has to be perfect. everyone makes mistakes, dealers, mechanics, doctors, all of us - whoever is at fault, i really dont get this internet bashing thing - seems like a misunderstanding that is snowballing - or snowballed. sad for all of us -
