I thought I would start a new thread to keep track of and discuss this market/inventory in North America. I borrowed this idea from Stokpro for the CS market thread. I think it would be a good place to keep track of the market and inventory on these V12 GT cars. I will just contribute a few ads to start it off.

Just from a short time looking at a couple of publications I have found:

    From Canadian Autotrader: 8 - 550's for sale, 1 Barchetta & 4 - 575's and 1 - SA

    http://www.autotrader.ca/a/pv/Used/Ferrari/550/Ferrari/?lloc=Canada&rctry=True&rcs=0&st=11

    http://www.autotrader.ca/a/pv/Used/Ferrari/575/Ferrari/?lloc=Canada&rctry=True&rcs=0&st=11

    Dupont Registry: 7 - 550's , 2 - Barchetta's , 13 - 575's and 7 - SA's

I only noticed 2 SA's for sale on FerrariAds .

I did not intentionally omit the 456 market......I just forgot to add it and should have thought it through before starting a new thread.

Randall, I think that is a very sharp color combo. The price is very reasonable as well.
    I have a 2005 575M F1 Argento Nurburgring/Nero and this 03 for sale has a sharp interior IMO.
That will be a good buy for someone who likes that color combo. I think it should sell fairly quickly.

Sorry, but I do not know the history on this car.
Maybe someone else here does or just call Ferrari of Newport Beach and they will let you know.
I inquired about a couple of different cars there when I was looking to purchase, and they were great with sending me all the history they had.
That Barchetta seems to be a very fair price. I don't think I would sell mine for less than 175K unless I needed the cash. ;)

It seems that this car has the 575 headlamps, very strange indeed.
Maybe there is a story to this Barchetta?

without disclosure? are 575 headlights "better"? it is little mysteries like these that keep a car from selling--hmmm

This car was for sale in December, 2003, at Silicon Valley Auto Group; silver/charcoal, carbon fiber trim and race seats, shields, modular wheels, red calipers, 2K miles.

Then it was on eBay on 19 February 2007 through St. Louis Motor Sports, LLC, silver/black, 4,380 miles, $205,000.

This is/was a Jon Walton car, and it was built after the first few 575Ms, so it's possible - though I have no proof - that it left the factory with those headlights. But irrespective of the ownership provenance, it's more likely that the headlights were added after market.

I saw it in June, 2008, at the 2008 Le Belle Macchine d'Italia concorso in Skytop, PA.

It is odd that a limited production, numbered car would have different headlights than the model specific year; especially being a Barchetta.
You would think that they would follow production specifications unless the owner actually requested 575 headlamp assemblies.

ps.Maybe the originals are in the trunk. ;)

New to Ferrari world, so I hope I won't offend anyone here. If the TDF Superamerica (559 built) with 6.5K miles w/CCB option. went for $167K? When I saw most in US are asking in the $220K~ Range (2 in Canada with 8K-13K miles are asking $180K-$200)
Where as Barchetta (448 built) are asking still near the $200K, So does this means realistically they should be priced at $155~175K range if they were to move them?

Also, is it worth while to import instead of buying within Canada? ie, cost of importation?
