    ^ 1 Italian, Prancing Stallion! ;)

    370hp @ the wheels.
Estimated around 440hp @ the motor. Not as much as F40 but more than GTO!
Comparable to F512 F360 456, but less weight = more fun

    Thx for posting.

Smoke from burning rubber & spinning tires are were its at!!

But seriously, I'd like get one of those surf board camera mounts. What I'd really like to do is figure out how to attach it by the wheel well, sail panel, or the roof spoiler for those Miami Vice angles. :)

    Your welcome :)
Norwood built this car two decades ago and rebuilt the motor along with the turbo for strength and reliability. Best part about it is it has stock compression, stock cams. So when not being pushed wide open, it performs just as stock. Actually, because of the precision of the EFI, it's street manners are better than stock.

I wouldn't suggest building this much power over stock thru a kit. Not unless the motor is brand new fresh.

Hey Jack, the boost level is surprisingly lo.
    Only 5psi.
Most don't believe it until they see it in action.

Doesn't even build enough heat in the intake charge to necessitate an intercooler.
Never seen the egt above 900*f.
But as you know, difference in boost is made up in the fuel system, compression, and the capabilities of the EFI.
With the hi compression, lag doesn't exist. It drives as stock and around 4500 rpm, it just explodes! spool up is just about instant, throttle response is excellent, and it is very predicable which is very nice if your going to do more than pull down a straight line.
    Norwood outdid themselves

Bob was a leader in forced induction on Ferrari's, I seen his 1000 HP TR powered dragster fired up in his shop about 22-23 years ago.

You are correct about the intercooler with low boost pressure, if you want a few extra ponies, try water injection, its amazing what water can do and its good for the motor. Did Bob change the cam timing? Forced induction motors prefer mild camshaft profiles with no overlap as the bigger the overlap the more boost and fuel goes out the exhaust. Sounds to me you have got it perfect, any more boost and your going to find the next weakest link.

You must own a tire company, if you don't.... buy stock in one! HA!

Thanks for the video, keep them coming.

    Merry Christmas

Great car, thanks for the post. If you talk to Bob Norwood directly, he will tell you, a non-intercooled 308/328 as you have is OK to squirt around town with short episodes of boost. If you run that set up with repeated boosts and or hard driving, eg, a track day, you are likely to burn up the top end. Be careful...

Edwardo told me the same thing about the 350hp Mondial.
If he pushed too hard, for too long, his egts would rise too hi.
But he also told me the car was set up to run 3x's the boost!!

Fortunately, I've never had the same issue. I have rallied the car a few times and even took it on some pretty long adventures, not a single complaint.

But your message is well taken, thanks for the compliments.....thx to everybody for posting!
I posted some rally pics before, but when I get home, I'll dig a couple up and add to this thread.

    no problem,
    Thx for contributing!
...and again, congratulations on the magazine.

    Even tho Red/Tan is #1 for me, Black/Crema is a close 2nd!!
I'm a big fan of la Crema, actually.
I don't think it works as well with Red as Tan does, but I feel the contrast with the Black is outstanding!!
The pics of your QV on your profile are real sweet, I like! :)

I swiped this pic from AJS328's MEGA 328 Thread:

the car was originally equipped with a first generation Haltec E6

to say it was antiquated is an understatement!! In its day it was state of the art, today..obsolete! they were never intended for cars with a flat plane crank.....and try finding an obsolete DOS based computer that can read it! Even after I found one I could borrow, the computer was still reading too fast for the Haltec.

After it started giving me problems, I opted for the Autronic SM4.
I havent even scratched the surface yet on all it can do.
    boost control
    traction control
    launch control
    flat shifts
    it can even self tune.
It can even control ABS and a bunch of other stuff i cant remember off the top off my head!!!
My tuner, Enzo was telling me this car is set for 500hp or even more, so with the extra tuning flexibility, I opted for for a Water/Methanol injection system.
Ive been running an SMC alcohol kit in my Grand National,so I figure to give it a try.
this time the AEM unit. SMC is fine, but it has a dash mounted controller. AEM is concealed.
Truth is, i only used it once. When we installed it.
Didnt set it up for the Meth at all, just sprayed it in and my AFR dropped below 10:1 and It still picked up 20-30hp across the entire powerband with about a 10hp peak. Imagine if it were set up.
So if i ever take it back looking to tune for more power or build more boost, I would definitely utilize it's potential.
But i think i want to add AEMs failsafe for it first. Even tho the ECM can adjust for when tank empties, you can't be too safe!!

Enzo doesn't own a Ferrari, but his ride aint too bad either:[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSyvR8ti3i4[/ame]
if you look closely you can see rubber spraying off @ :43 & :55!!!!

....i also like how the water/meth combo also cleans the engine of carbon and deposits.
on the GN, i had to mix denatured alcohol with an oil called uplon to prevent corrosion associated with alcohol.
the 50/50 water/meth seems to be a smarter solution.

    I love forced induction.

    Thanks!
