    I noticed the weird looking 300S. And I have my opinion which chassis it is.....! But I advise to move this to the Maserati section on this forum.

    If you look at all the Texas region pics the first thing you notice is that the cars all look pretty scruffy. Sports car racing in the US at the time wasn't very tidy. Some teams, like Group 44 were at the forefront of professionalizing the sport, but at the time, most of the teams were shade tree operations and the cars weren't very professionaly turned out. They took the cars to races on open trailers behind station wagons, and did the whole thing on a pretty minimal budget. Now, even at a SCCA regional you see large enclosed trailers or transporters and the cars are much more professionally turned out.
