According to the C&S article mentioned above, 6351 SF was originally registered by John Hood (the cotton merchant) on 28 November 1965, and it was painted silver-grey at that time. At the time of the article it was painted black, owned by Gaetan Rombouts-Howitt and his father, and wore registration number SUP 500.

Exactly a whole year passed between the date the car was completed at the PF plant and the date the car was bought by the first owner.

Does anyone have a copy of the above Classic & Sportscar magazine, March, 1994 article on the Superfast to scan and post?

I'm certain this car was for sale at Pullicino Classics in London between 95 and 96 when I worked there.

Steve, I have that issue of C&S (in fact, I have a complete set back to 1982), but I'm not set up to post the entire article here. If you want to see it, send me a PM with your email address and I'll see what I can do. It would take me quite a while to see if the same Superfast is advertised at Pullicino Classics in 1995/96, but as noted, it WAS advertised at Cloverbush in London in March 1994.
