looking to maybe try to move on to another toy. thought i'd see if there was any interest before i consign the car with the dealer...... 2003 575f1. silver/ black. 8k miles. two owner. full docs/records/books. LFSC/FOA service. $95k pm me if interested
A silver 575 is a beautiful car. Just curious, what new toy has caught your interest? I've thought about selling one of my two Ferraris one of these days, but I think it would be my 458, not my 550. Is that sacrilege? There is just something really enjoyable to me about driving my 550. Not sure exactly what it is. Maybe it is the "old school" feeling of shifting through the gears. Maybe the loads of low-down torque off the line. Maybe it is just the happy state of being while cruising down the highway at 75 mph or so. Cheers and good luck on your next adventure! .
This is a surprise that you would part with it. It will be a good deal for someone! There is nothing that I would really consider selling/trading my 550 for, but I'm old school and really like the manual shifting. RRS
i'm pretty much there. hence not really aggressively marketing it. bang for the buck is there. what other car can u get for -$100k that draws attention like these cars do and the amazing lines and styling. anything else is going to require another $100k outlay to play...... i'd keep it but with two young boys and not enough garage space i only have room for one toy at a time and i'm feeling like i should experience something else..... was thinking a 430 scud or 599..... i really like the kirkham 427 cars but i have been unable to drive one. i love a bunch of the older stuff but then i'm dissapointed in the driving experience. my gut tells me that these are the last of the old school ferraris, near or at the bottom of the depreciation curve and therefore i'll probably regret selling it several years down the road.

Might be interested...can you tell us what other features/options? Tubi? Daytonas? Power seats? Leather rear shelf? FHP or anything similar to the suspension? Condition of the dash leather? Other condition? Most recent belt and annual service and age of tires, clutch wear, etc? Thanks!
That's really interesting, I would have thought that a 458 was almost the complete package in the F range. Perhaps the new 599 will the ultimate. I assume that you enjoy the fact that the 550 value will remain steady Vs the 458 which will most likely take a severe haircut over the next 2 years??
always awesome to hear people staying loyal to the gated shifter. it's ironic i feel like i'm one of the youngest owners on here and i'm the one who keeps pushing for ferrari to go back to 3 pedals.
Wayne- See if this helps, but it is Argento Nurburgring or Argento Metallizato, same color and PPG 36520. Just about any question like that on the 575M can be found in the 575 Serial Numbers vs Assembly Numbers thread. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
