    So forgetful of me, I didn't remember nor mark this valve before removing it. All I know is one end goes under the air filter box and the other end goes to the EGR valves. This is for an 84 QV US, Thanks. :)

    Pointing to the left/drivers side Mike. It's the air injection cut off valve and it's an expensive little part. 200-400 new.

    A little scrub with a green abrasive pad will get it looking new too.

    Looks really could be deceiving. First I wasn't going to change the hoses #6 on Steve's exploded view as they look real good but then I said why not I have extra hose that size. So, after I loosen the clamps and slide it over so I can twist it lose, so when I barely started to twist, the hose just literally shattered like glass, I mean it's so hard and brittle they just crack like Chinese fortune cookies. It was so brittle up to about 3 inches from the end. So if you haven't yet, check your hoses and replace them if you can as the get bad from the inside out.

    Mine were the same. Hard as a rock and brittle.

    Nice even cuts on the end of those hoses Mike. Did you use a hose cutter?
