Hi everyone, I went yesterday to this apparently new exhibition and I was very pleased. A racetrack was even installed outside and I thought it was a very nice addition to this type of show. A lot of italian cars of course but not only. A lot of very interesting Citroëns (DS cabriolet, DS Prestige, Chapron) for instance. Very cool show!! Love the mix of sportscars. That Lancia Zagato should look really fine when done. Tom Tanner/Ferrari Expo-Chicago March 17th 2012
More pictures of the ASA would be also great. Do you know if it had any racing history? Tom Tanner/Ferrari Expo 2012-Chicago March 17th 2012
Here is another picture of the stand. Unfortunately I don't know the racing history of the red one. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you for your photos. The red one was entered in the Targa-Florio in 1966. Giotto Bizzarrini himself is the father of this unique ASA. The body was made by Piero Drogo's Carrozzeria Sports Cars in Modena. Do you have more photos with the ASA cars? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have some more but they are in my cell phone and I had a slight trouble with its password this afternoon. Hope it'll be solved soon!
Giotto: Eureka! This is the car I told you I had seen at Monthlery at the Coupes de l'Age d'or in the 80's looking somewhat like a mini GTO 64 with the second body as in the color photo! Show looks very impressive particularly the Maserati Classiche booth. Want to write a bad check for the green (pino verde?) C4 right away.-)! MS
This is also my kind of show! Here are a few more pictures. A Lele with hub caps that I had never seen before. I love those oddities. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The show was also outside. Some were incredibly loud: my kids loved them! Image Unavailable, Please Login
One more on the Maserati stand. A lot of people there were wearing very nice Maserati Classiche clothing, very nice! Image Unavailable, Please Login
The ASA's are amazing,it has the bizzarrini touch, setting the engine far back into the chassis just like the GTO and 5300's
Tried to find Carrozzeria Fiorano on the web and could not find them. That Mangusta is an early one,; opened gills and large signal lights
Any more info on the OSCA? Also one of my flickr contacts put up photos from the show http://www.flickr.com/photos/ugutsinda/sets/72157629386117785/

Looks almost like this Lancia B53 I saw in Milwaukee. Those Lancia's had such a long wheelbase they look strange from some angles. Had to help jumpstart this one, but I did get a ride in it over the concours ramp for my effort. Tom Tanner/Ferrari Expo 2012-Chicago March 17th 2012 Image Unavailable, Please Login
