1st Annual Toys For Tots Charity Show and Drive

As you have read about the Toys For Tots Drive, here is the date and some details, more to come:

We are trying to raise 1000 toys from the motorsport community!

www.villagecoffeeroaster.com (VCR, SFV GTG meeting place.. check link for address at bottom of page) Some of us in the motorsport community have put our heads together to create a GTG/Drive to benefit the less fortunate. We will take over the parking lot at El Camino Shopping Center for the 1st Annual Toys For Tots Charity Drive. We will have an APR Dealer there with INSANE deals on chipping. Expect to see plentiful Ferrari's, Porsches, and other exotic cars.

All that is required to take part in the show is an un-wrapped, new gift to donate to the Toys For Tots Charity www.toysfortots.org. We are making this an annual event for a GREAT cause.

More details on the drive to follow..
Who's in? You should be....

If any of you have media connections, we need the papers/TV out here to get positive publicity for the socal motorsport community. This is a great opportunity for everyone involved... we will have law enforcement here with and other sponsors....please help support the Children

Ladies and Gents on F-chat, you all are the big guns. Everyone would love to see your rides here. If you come, EVERYONE else will, which will ensure more toys. I am thanking you in advance for your time and consideration with this. I am open to ideas and help. Please attend.

Regards,
Dustin

It's for sure December 12th??? My girlfriend is flying in that day. I have to check her arrival time. I'd love to help out if I can. Even if not, maybe I can leave a toy with you on one of the preceeding Sunday get togethers at the Village Roaster?

Byron Cheng did a toy drive for kids last year; i thought it was for Toys For Tots, but i could be wrong... i can't obviously drive out there, but i'd like to contribute; is there an address where i can send toys...?

Dustin,
You can count Ferrari Driving Club in. Last year, we did a similar toy drive that benefited kids from Make-A-Wish Foundation. I think Toys for Tots is an equally great cause, so you can count on us for our support.

Thanks,
Byron

Hopefully, that will get some Alfa Romeo's to come out. I'll be there with the 308 and 911 SC.

Thanks to Anthony for posting on the Alfa BB.
Too late to make the upcoming issue of Alfacionada, but we will send out a membership email memo.
If there is any way you can get me some flyers by Sat., we have around 300 French & Italian (under 3 liter) cars - including approx. 100 Alfa's and usually Jay Leno showing up at Woodley Park on Sun. Nov. 7 for "The Best of France & Italy" car show. I have an office downtown, live in Chatsworth and would be happy to pick up from anywhere in between.

I will get them to you. Small world, I am friends with Sam Williams that helps to put that on. I was going to call him too after the 7th...figured he had enough on his hands right now.
