On the site I frequently visit in my search for Ferrari-miniatures, they had the IXO 1:43 Enzo and Scaglietti on pre-order for quite a while now.

The Storia-part is seriously good news though!

Excellent, thank you. I wonder if the La Storia will be all IXO from the beginning or if they will pick up where Vitesse and Mattel left off. It is a great idea and I am glad that it has not been forgotten. I will go after them all.

Vitesse made the first 14 and Mattel made 5.

If they use new tooling for all 56, then I'm in for a full set.

I wonder how long to get them all out on the street. Probably at least 5 or 6 years.

If anyone sees any released (street or La Storia), please post it. Thanks.

That is odd. In 1991, the 642 was replaced by the 643 at the French GP and since the Spanish GP was well after the French GP in that year, there is no such thing as a 1991 642 at the Spanish GP.

Thanks for the new list. That looks to be about 8-10 years to bring them all to market. I can't see more than 10 a year unless they really invest some serious money up front, which would be risky. But then again, maybe they read Ferrari Chat and are answering customer interest.

Probably more will be added over the next few years if the execution and sales are successful.

I think the original La Storia were about 6 a year.

I wonder if there will be any copyright issues with Minichamps or Vitesse on the same models that were made by them. Or Schumacher copyright, since he owns everything with his name or likeness on it. The Senna Foundation is the same way - nothing of his made without thier permission.

Hopefully, in a few years, all of them will be made and not too rare or expensive.

Great job, IXO!!

I have the Enzo on order. It is about 30 Euro's. No BBR quality, but good enough for me.

I have their Bentleys. Nice quality, but not BBR level. New Minichamps is a good comparison.

I saw Ixo's 288 GTO and Enzo last saturday and I thought they were quite good. More so when you relate it to the price. I also have a Countach by Ixo (Pace car Monaco GP 1982) and I'm very happy with its quality.

I'm looking forward to the rest of this series!

IXO Le Mans cars ?

Hmmm. Interesting. They already have some reasonable looking Ford MKIV's; GT40's and a 250LM listed in their 'Classic Le Mans and GT' section. Wonder if they plan to do any 330P4's and 412p's. Got to be better than the old Brumm and Bang offerings ....

As far as I know the IXO models are just the same as the Fabbri models which were released in the recent past (Fabbri is an Italian magazine). I bought one model in Italy (333 SP) and it's quality is something between Hotwheels and Minichamps. I wonder if IXO will up the quality (by better detailing). I had one IXO model (Lancia Fulvia) and that looked pretty good (Minichamps quality).
