New F430 video

Great video!

I said it after I heard the first sound clip of the 430 engine some months ago...

And I'll say it now--that engine sounds like RICE! Just listen at 2:33 on the video!

I mean, the 430 engine sounds like the sound produced by those coffee-can mufflers that kids put on their Hondas... the 430 engine just doesn't sound anything like the 5 Ferrari V8s that came before it... and it ought to. Don't tell me that it "should" sound different because of the increase in displacement!

I dunno, it hurts me to say this stuff, but don't you agree?

I dunno, I said it in the last video post, it sounds a WHOLE LOT like the big ultra-powerful V6 (with VTEC!!!!! +1000hp) in my Accord. It really does.

I generally don't follow the crowd BUT, NO, it doesn't sound at all like anything from Honda except for their F1 cars.
I will agree that at low revs and speeds it sounds "restrained" and "muffled" or perhaps "muzzled." I look foward to hearing the various improvements and changes via Capristo and Tubi. The stock sound is gorgeous, a much deeper tenor to baritone than the 360, but I miss the raw tenor-alto scream of the 360.

I think it sounds great...love it. When something new hits we always pick at what MAY be wrong but keep an eye out for major boners from the guys that see them in the flesh.

And if you don't like the souhd just change the exhaust...more than half will anyway.

The Stradale does not sound like a Tubi. It shreeks much like the F430. Just different.

I second that and I have to say...it DOES NOT sound like a coke can equipped Honda. It may not sound as good as the older Ferraris, but it's an improvement over the sedate 360.

 

Nice video, thanks for posting it. You know what is interesting? It seems that most of these videos are from Europe. It's too bad that here in the states nobody does anything like this.

 

Super vid, thanks for posting. The 430 is such a wicked car and looks truly awesome in Giallo .

 

From the video we cannot judge the sound really, but from the videos out there the Gallardo sounds so much better.
