Can anyone explain to me the pitfalls of an F1?
    Driving patterns are improper?
Someone mentioned that the F1s eat clutches?
Can someone explain why this is or how to prevent?
    Thanks

Try to avoid a lot of stop and go traffic. When stopped I put mine in neutral.(people will argue that that is not necessary) The clutch can be adjusted to get more life out of it. Other then that I wouldn't worry to much.

I do the same thing regarding bad traffic (which I try to avoid). The service manager where I take my car to be serviced recommended putting the car in neutral at lights too. I also coast up to lights when I see their going to be red rather than downshifting through all the gears. I'm told that most wear on the clutch is in Reverse and 1st. Accelerating in reverse is supposed to be particularly hard on the clutch.
