Has anybody ever seen, in the flesh, or know anything more about the car in the photo below ? A friend found it at www.scuderia.at. Thumbnail is captioned "Testarossa Turbo im 330 P4 Stil", so it's possibly a turbo conversion by Norwood or Koenig. Bob Norwood's twin-turbo Stage IV installations go up to 1000bhp, so whereas this car might not be quite 100% correct in appearance, it could possibly be the ultimate performing P4 lookalike. Note the large scoops cut into the sills, mirroring those in the doors - obviously needed for extra cooling ! Could this be the one for you, Wolfgang ...?? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Paul, Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!!!!!!!! Jus the mirrors looks a bit poor. Please give me all the infos you know about this beauty. Just amazing - but I believe tooooo expensive for me?!

All I know about it, so far, is in post #1. Trust me - I will find out more The other P4 replica on the same page belongs to Max Theiler (Altendorf, Switzerland) - powered by a 365GTC/4 V-12. This car crops up all over the place !

i seem to be a little late, but i dont look into the regional threads for usual. but now i discovered, that a pic i took is matter of discussion. so lets light up the things a little: as you said right, the one car belongs to the former president of the ferrari club switzerland max theiler, who is also member of the scuderia ferrari austria. the other car was built in austria on chassis of testarossa 86225. the owner had a P4 replica body, but the testa-chassis is much wider, so the whole body was cut apart in the middle and fitted to the chassis. now its about 15-20cm wider than a real P4. the engine is the original testarossa engine with albrex turbo power. the owner told us about 1000 hp like the koenig turbo engines. these have also been powered by albrex. because of the turbos, the sound of the car is nou what one would expect of an 1000 hp car. the car is road legal and driven by the owner regulary. he has a nice car collection from other sportscars like ferrari, maserati or lamborghini to trucks and tanks.
here are 2 more pics of the back. you can see the turbocharged engine and the extremely wide body. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
