I braved the terrible weather and headed over the alps to the Concorso D'Eleganza at Villa D'Este. Some truly amazing machinery. Here are the vintage Ferraris for your delictation. The rest of my pictures I've posted here... http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=134890590#post134890590 Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of the 212 Barchetta. Favourites had to be the Dino and the little blue 500 Mondial. Beautiful pics Simon. Exceptional this kind of weather. Do you have rear vision pics of the Mondial as well? Best Boudewijn
What? You saying they aren't good enough? Sorry I've posted more or less all the pictures I took. (You've seen the ones over here, right?) http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=134890590#post134890590 @Boudewijn Sorry none of the back of the Mondial. Very funny as I'm positive I took some, but none on my camera. At one point water got in my camera and it started doing some funny things, so perhaps a few didn't save. There is this one from the Villa D'Este website. http://www.concorsodeleganzavilladeste.com/inglese/ed05/ed05.asp Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here is our coverage of the actual Villa d'Este Concours of the Saturday, it was very unfortunate the Villa Erba Concours was so wet. http://www.***************.com/frame.php?file=event_item.php&rid=60
Simon - Thanks much for posting your pix! Very dedicated of you to stand in the rain to photograph a bunch of "cars".......;--) Love the rear wing struts on the yellow Dino! Thx, james
Hah, you must have loved the five shots of the Duesey. There are some sweet ones from Villa Erba on my hd as well. I'm not sure abou the Targa, it depends on my getting accreditation for Le Mans mainly. The Tour Auto is interesting as always, with a number of older Ferraris and the Comp Daytonas colouring the field red.
That looks more like a rally special stage than a concours field. Did anyone hang the tail out ? John
Hey Punk ! Bosh Daytona Comp is the most desirable car on earth. Its soo loud . I dont know why but i love it more than the other Comps. Shoot it a lot for me !!
