J. Kay drove his home from the factory... He drove TO the factory in a Maranello and left in his Enzo - i don't know what happened to the Maranello... The serial number of his Enzo, 132051, is higher than Clapton's, 130916, so it's certainly possible that Clapton was the first to drive his Enzo home from the factory - i've not heard of anyone else doing that (except for those folks who picked up their cars from the factory, slapped temporary Italian plates on them, drove them around Italy for a little while, then shipped them home)...


Seal... i think we would need a more specific definition of the term 'notable'... Are you referring to celebrities...? Or do mean notable in the sense of which owners are doing notable things with their Enzos - like driving them...?

If the latter is the case, i would have to say Richard Losee... He's got thousands and thousands of miles on his Enzo... Thousands and thousands... Not five or six; more towards 20; maybe even more than that...! He drives it all over the place... That's pretty notable to me...

 

I remember reading somewhere (i think on Fchat) that RL doesn't have one, or at least didn't get one new, but Hilfiger does. Its possible that RL has acquired one since then.

 

yea i was gonna say Detroit Red Wings player sergei fedorov, who I met on saturday and is a really cool guy.

 

I believe RL did acquire a "used" Enzo, but i'm not positive.

His car was filmed in "Top Gear" (obviously in exchange for some promotion for Nick's recent book "Inside Out" on his personal history of Pink Floyd).

The same car was lately used for a (failed!) attempt to best Gilles Villeneuves record time of 2h 45 minutes from Monte Carlo to Maranello...

He tried to drive his new ENZO back home to London from Maranello.
The engine has been blown on the way to the tunnel in French.
Called Ferrari and they picked up the ENZO back home to Mama Ferrari.
I don`t know whether he got the same repaired or another ENZO.
But he didn`t drove home to London with this ENZO.

His friend wrote Frank's Enzo off, but i'm sure it is getting fixed.

Ralph Lauren does have one.. its rosso w/ tan interior, and he did buy it from a dealer, not from ferrari.

 

Who is the guy from South Carolina with a yellow one? He gave me a ride in it at the FCA Annual Meet in Sebring back in 03. C&D did a story on it and him too.
