CLK GTR Question?

Can anyone who has recently visited or lives near Singen Germany tell me, if there is a CLK GTR in the showroom at Auto Salon Singen.Their web site shows them but says they are sold or unavailable, and as im visiting the area i was hoping maybe they keep one on show, but i guess im in for disappointment. Any info will be greatly appreciated, thanks.Alan W

Maybe they are not unavailable because there not for sale de website shows now 4 CLK GTR's and 1 of them is a roadster but under every photo stands Price on request so i think they have them in de showroom or a warehouse or something like that.

My Garage
Most of the cars on Auto Salon Singen's website are clients cars for sale on comission and are not on site. They do have an impressive collection in the show room but not anything like what's shown on the web site. I think at one point the had 9 enzos, 10 288GTO's 20 F50's and over 30 F40's listed on their web site. Perhaps give them a ring, I don't know how approachable they are for non customers. If you're buying a GTR I'm sure they might even give you a coffee
Cheers
Simon

If you are in the area, you should visit them. I was there 3 years ago and it was really great. They have many cars there and not only Ferrairs. When I was there they had a F40 several 512 BBi and many 308, 328, 348, 355, 360,... and I can't remember what else. Maybe I can scan some pics and post them.

They have many cars listed on their Website, but I think they don't delete the cars they've sold. Because otherwise they ould have close to 1000 Ferraris and I can't believe that, even if they sell for clients.

There were some signs in the Lamborghinis and Bugattis that you shouldn't touch the cars. But if you are a serious buyer that should be no problem ;-)

But maybe you can talk with somebody there and maybe he'll allow you to sit in. Just try it!

I now for a fact that most of the remaining unsold GTRs are at the AMG factory, seen a couple there that were waiting for buyers, last year.

If you are looking to buy one, MAKE SURE THEY GIVE U AN EXTENDED WARRANTY ON THE GEARBOX! Or better yet try to get them to swap it for a full auto! Should not cost more than 80k to swap in a production car gearbox.

If the original gearbox goes, it takes alot of things with it

Just my 2 cents.
