I saw 6 real FXX together at the factory!!

Yes guys, it is really true. I saw 6 FXX together this week.
On wednesday I had a factorytour in Maranello and we visited the production line of the FXX model.
There was standing 1 FXX that was completly ready and 5 where on the productionline. I could touch, feel and smell it. The car looks awsome in real.

The guide told us some things I didn't know.
There will be build 29 examples.
First half will be red with white stripe, and they are discussing right now about other colors. The color he was talking about is BLUE!!!

No car is delivered yet. Because there were allready discussions with customers about the productionnumber they wanted. Some want the first, some the last. Some don't want 13 or 17 because of these are "unlucky" numbers. So Ferrari has decide to deliver all FXX on the same time on the same place with all clients together. Date not set yet.

BTW, you'll have to buy a special fuel filling installation because the car has a F1 nozzle.

That's all info we got about the FXX. Hope for some of you it is new info.
and ofcourse........not allowed to make pictures in the factory.

 

Yes, it is the same as used for the Enzo.
At the left there is the 8 and the 12 cylinder productionlines, and at the right there is the productionlines for the specials.

Same here. I was told there would be 20 but the guide at the factory really confirmed to me it will be 29. He didn't know how much where allready made.
I asked him how many reds and how many blue ones but he had no idea.....unfortunatly

 

btw, there were 23 people from USA on the same tour, we were only 2 europeans.
I did not talk to them all, but maybe another Fchatter??
