    The pictures say it all - we've had a fantastic week down in Maranello - collecting the 430 from the factory. We were treated like royalty by the Ferrari Factory, and the Ferrari Owners' Club who were there having a Factory Visit, it was a pleasure to share the great occassion with them!

    If any of you are fortunate enough to be getting a new Ferrari, you really must make the effort and collect it from the Factory - the experience has been truly fantastic for us, it's my first BRAND NEW Ferrari, and wouldn't have missed it for the world.

    We drove the car around Maranello, to all the usual places and did the pictures, for a couple of days, then trailered it back to the UK (which did take 2½ days hard driving and 1,000 miles) it was worth every minute.

    Looks like next weekend I will be giving it the Zymol treatment! It has 72 miles on the clock now, so best to do it while it's new!

    Ray im loving the 430 m8 there so good m8 i know how you feel ray,brill colour combo as usuall ray looks great m8,can i buy it off you in 15yrs time m8:D,here's the 348 in winter storage ray,nice and warm under the lights :D

    I'm surprised you only drove 72miles in Italy though. If I had a new Ferrari in Italy I don't think I would stop driving. Thousands of miles of amazing roads!

    I can promise you all it would have been easier and cheaper to drive the car back over a couple of days and go through the rain and crap that we did and get the car covered in s--t NO WAY My car that i have waited two and a half years for is in my warm garage dehimidified as well, and it is as perfect as the day it was presented to me at the factory and i have had one fantastic buying experiance that i will never forget .I will NOT be Conkersing i will be using it at my lesiure and pleasure

    Ray thats superb and what cracking seats I love 'em, but I thought they put a 100 or so miles on them for testing before they left the factory?
