A friend of mine has a 1994 Strosek 928. He purchased the car from Fred Opert Racing in Ramsey around 12 years ago. At the time, it was a very expensive car. Today it's worth about 1/4 of what he paid.

I will see if he has any photos of the car. It has less than 5k miles on the clock and sees very little driving time these days.

Porsche 928s are terrific cars! Those are all interesting examples. I haven't seen a Strosek 928 in a long time.

When I get home I'll check a few of my books.. I know I've seen this car before (but definitely pre-1993). I do have to wonder how you reach/close the door if you're seated.. I've got some pretty long arms and I don't think there's any way I could manage it!

Looks WAY better. I never liked the Strosek headlamps. Looks like a Saab logo on the back though. :)

I'd love to see that car. 928s are the most underrated Porsche, a Strosek is even more so.

15 years ago I had 7 friends in college who drove 928S4s and two 928GT (one GT is owned by a chick). They loved it. One of them even picked me up in LAX when I had with me 2 large suitcases. Surprisingly it fits when the 2 back seats are folded down, try that in a 911! It is quite a practical Sportcar. My only complaint is that the 928GT clutch is too heavy in LA traffic.
I almost bought an automatic 928S4 back then, still regret that I didn't.

Compensating spring can be tensioned to make the pedal as hard or soft as you want - only takes a pair of wrenches :)

That's what my mechanic told me, is it true? Theoritically you can make a Countach clutch as light as an accord? Wow.

Not sure about the Countach, but certainly true for the 928.

Are 928 body kits (Strosek or otherwise) even sold anywhere in the states?

If I remember right, that silver 928 with the silver leather was made for a Japenese client of Strosek's. I think I've seen an article about it in a magazine a few years back.
