Saw the previous thread the guy looking for his 308, got me to thinking, I would love to know what happened to my 1987 328gts. The complete vin was ZFFXA2OA6H0067053. It was totaled on 1/30/03. Some guy made a left into me!

At the time the insurance company totaled it but it was not that bad? Maybe 20K worth of damage? It did have major front end damage but it was still fixable no frame damage, the Insurance company was getting quotes on new parts from the Factory, and most were not available. So they wrote it off.

The car originally bought by Michael Rozenstraten of Ferrari of Costa Mesa from the insurance company, then sold to (I forgot his complete name) the guy who sells 288gto replica kits out of Arizona. Would love to know if anyone bought it? Repaired it? Or if it was just sold for parts? Or if anyone did decide to rebuild it, I could give them some history on the car.

All I have on 67053 is that it was Silver with a tan interior and for sale through Symbolic in October 2001. I assume you bought it from them? Nothing later than that.

    Jonathan,
Yes that is correct, I did buy it from Symbolic, paid through the nose at the time but it was worth it, it was extremely clean, and silver/tan was a nice combo. Just thought that if someone on the board did buy to fix it, they might want the history of the vehicle along with some of the info on service.

Clean the engine bay please. It looks like it's been underwater.
