...Dietrich? t-shirt...

Hi all,

I've been a lurker on FerrariChat for a couple of years now and last week's events have prompted me to get more involved with the Forum. Specifically I've designed a t-shirt with regards to the mysterious Dietrich and am trying to get a sense of how many people would be interested to own one.

I work in one of the car design studios in Los Angeles and my co-workers at least are pretty excited about it. I wanted to get an idea how many people here would also be interested so I can adjust the quantities made accordingly.

Just to be clear, it's not in my nature to make fun of others' misfortunes, however considering the account of the mysterious Dietrich seems SO far fetched, and the fact that no one was hurt (be it a busload of orphans or some PCH-native endangered tree frog), I feel ok in producing the t-shirt.

Let me know if you please & thanks,

-e

PS: I tried attaching a picture of the graphic I made but the attachment pop up window hangs ans hangs and hangs even though the file is only 80Kb and I am on DSL. I'll try again later to upload the pic.

Hmm, would have to see it. "Where's Dietrich?" would be a perfect slogan for it

You could apply the "Where's Dietrich" slogan to a "Where's Waldo" style picture of the wreckage of the car on PCH

Here's the design...

"...Dietrich?" would actually be printed inside where the t-shirt tag normally goes... I tried different iterations, even writing "where's dietrich" and variations thereof in German and somehow it didn't look just right...

That looks pretty cool, especially on a black T. IMO it would be a waste to put the Dietrich where the tag goes as you couldn't see it. Why not on the back between the shoulder blade area and not too big? Looks like a good job

I'll ask...
Right off the bat though... seems like a lot of extra cost (extra screen, and the manual labor of reversing the shirt to print on the back) but we'll see...

I'd bet it's as much work trying to mess around and print in the tag area. Let me know? I might be in for an order

My Garage
Why not put it in the graphic along the flatbed edge where the tow company's name usually goes?

Kinda like this, only angled correctly

I have four for ya :

"Yesterday I've seen a unicorn in my garden, but haven't seen Dietrich yet"

"All my girlfriend's husbands called me Dietrich..."

"An UFO have landed... But Dietrich have vanished..."

"A Dietrich is a kind of unicorn. Everybody talked about but nobody have really seen..."

Makes me laugh... A guy who pretends to be a mafioso (The cellphone brand man name) makes so stupid lies...

By the way... Where's EnzoGuy when he's needed ? (Laughs).

Funny. Think "Where's Dietrich" is the best.

I am in for one if they are ever made.

I'm also curious about what Design studio you work for, I'm studying Automotive Design at ACCD.
