Both are spinning, it's an optical illusion.

I quickly respond, "Yeah, its probably my favorite here." As I say that, he pops the front end up, and puts away his bag. Yeah, this guy was the owner. Next thing he said blew my mind, "Why don't you get it, and have a feel for it?" I said, "Um, what?!?!" He said, "Yeah, go ahead and have seat in there so you can get a feel for it." Well I'm sure as hell not gonna argue that! Then he said, "Here, give me your camera, so your friends will believe you." or something along those lines. The guy was cool as hell. As I sat there for a minute, getting a feel for the wheel and all, we talked cars. I'm big into mustangs, and he had a couple when he was my age.
Something to the same effect happened to me this year at the same show. But for me It was an F50 that I got to sit in. Man was that a heart pounding experience!

P.S. I'm surprised you didnt catch me talking to the owner of the Yellow Enzo in the background ! I stood there and talked to him forever. Very nice as well.

It's a car that we happen to see quite regularly at track events in France. It was at Le Vigeant event the last two years.
Not clear that the chassis is actually an F40's, sounds more like they developped the proto based on an F40 engine, and added some F40 look-alike coachwork. But I'm wondering if this car was not mentionned on an earlier thread.

As far as I know it IS based off a real F40....I think it was one that had been crashed.

It's a Tubi but I think it's the street version.

If it has mufflers it's a street, no mufflers LM. I though the streets tips looked OEM, and the three round ones meant LM, but I might be wrong.

Naked Pics

Well, disassembled, anyway. Looks to have even been driven in the rain, no leaks or underbody damage of significance and, most importantly, no stress when it goes back out on the street over puddles, errant pebbles, or cloudbursts. A driven car will have a patina and I like it this way.

After spending a couple rainy days in Maranello this week and seeing a different car being test-driven by the factory every few minutes all day long, I actually chuckled at how many Ferrari owners THINK their car has never been driven in the rain.

I live in Seattle. If I didn't drive my cars in the rain, they wouldn't get driven.

I 100% agree with you on patina. A driven car is a loved car.
