Ebay (alleged) Scam by one of our OWN!!

Tell me it isnt so ??

A few weeks ago, I was searching for some KEy Blanks on ebay, and came across our very own Jimmy540i.com and his ebay deals : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=4619500225
I sent him a request explaing that I was a fellow FChatter and what deal he would work me on 3 keys...

His response was 900.00

Now mind you , his ebay auction states :

"This item is not available through your Ferrari dealer unless you are a owner of a Ferrari Enzo.

This key is EXTREMELY HARD to get and its HIGHLY COLLECTABLE. This is also a GREAT GIFT idea for all Ferrari enthusiasts! SUPPLIES ARE LIMITED! "

Which this above statement is a complete lie, While on the Paupers Run in Las Vegas, we all stopped at the Wynn and I purchased 3 keys for less then 200.00 each.

When I asked the Manager of the Dealership if these keys were NOT available via the Ferrari Dealer, he stated that there a ton of these keys available and that he could ship them to me via truck loads.

So anyone that wants a ENZO key, your better off getting it from the dealer as its cheaper then what Jimmy540i would sell it to you for, and if your dealewr cant get them for what ever reason, I have a stash here!!

I also purchased a key from Wynn (Silver 612 key) and was told the same thing. I had already purchased a red one from an authorized dealer for about $215. The Wynn price was outstanding.

Hehe.

On the bright side, it's only $50 more expensive than a stay at Exoticosa Nostra's deluxe suite!

In defense for Jimmy, I don't think he has done anything wrong. He wants to sell them, and you aren't going to say, "oh you can get them some where else for cheaper than what I am charging." That is really how I see. If someone sees his listing, and hasn't done the proper research, then they might buy his key(s).

Those that buy keys for cars that they don't own deserve to pay a little extra. I can't understand why someone would buy a key for a car that they don't own, just to have. Takes a special kind of person, I guess.

If he can get suckers to pay 900.00 for a lousy car key, the more power to him.
