I'm curious about how it will sound. Anyone want to bring the camera when it comes to record it in action going down (at legal speeds on) PCH?
Would be interesting to see this turbo system at CC. Now someone just needs to call off the cops on Saturday morning!
Cool beans. I don't know why I said that, I normally don't, but I have heard it used by others before. Good luck.
this is mine (which was previously done) As far as I know it is the Only one. He has another one being done right now.
That's a beautiful looking engine. I love that you color matched parts. But why was the engine taken back out after this picture was taken?
steel sleeves settled about the thickness of a piece of paper. This is enough to take pressure off head gasket and allow water to seep into cylinders. reheated-refrooze sleeves twice hopefully permanently solved problem. We did get about 3000 fun filled miles out of the engine before this happened
How has your experience with Heffner been? I know he's an expert on forced induction with Vipers, but it seems this guy can slap on a turbo on just about anything.
What do you mean by settled? Did the increased cylinder pressure push the sleeves away from the heads? Good luck on the redone motor. Looks awesome!
Wayne What sort of RW #'s are you putting down ..... 3 stage system? Are you still AWD? Looks like a very clean set up. SM
