I do sometimes, but I don't go out there as much as I do the north and south side of town.

It's mine...I'm in Montgomery. I just posted a thread for a car show here on the 13th.

You're in Huntsville? Cool, Aaron! :D

My parents retired to Hampton Cove. I was actually born in Huntsville Hospital and spent most of my childhood growing up in Madison. Currently living in Scotland, but I get back when I can. :D

Last time I was there, I was allowed to borrow my dad's Porsche 911 (993) and found I was waved at by many others driving Porsches (911s, Caymans, etc...) - which was pretty nice. Would you count that as an exotic, or as a casual sportscar? There's a guy in the Porsche club my dad occasionally goes along to that has a 911 GT3 (I think), which is described by most who have been in it as "scarily fast" - that's certainly an exotic, even amongst those who wouldn't count most Porsches in that category. I've not seen it or been in it yet though, so I don't think I can notch that one up as a "spot", I just know it's in the area. :)

The other cool car my dad has is a Triumph TR3A, but I didn't get to drive it again during my last visit as things were just too hectic with last minute preparations for my sister's wedding. It's not a performance car by any means, but you won't see too many of them in Alabama and it's a pretty interesting car to drive - motoring was pretty raw in 1959!

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Yeah I am in Huntsville! You should come back sometime. And also I probably would count a 911 Carrera or Cayman as just a regular sportscar, because I see them all the time, but Turbos, GT3, GT2, Carrera GT I would definitely consider an exotic. Also, that Triumph is a cool car. Nice to see you on here!

I'll definitely get back at some point. :)

This is a bit of a long shot but, as you're in Huntsville... have you ever attended the Country Day School or Southern States Gymnastics?

    All the best,
    Andrew.

That's OK, it was a bit of a long-shot. When I was growing up in Huntsville, I went to school with an Aaron (Johnson?) and gymnastics with another Aaron (can't remember his surname) and with you being in Huntsville, it peaked my interest. :)

    All the best,
    Andrew.

HA! I saw that photo and thought, 'man, that looks exactly like downtown Montgomery, like the brew pub or somewhere nearby." Cool to see.

Were you at the Toys for Tots show at EastChase couple weeks back? I was there in a black 512TR and thought I saw your Z.

Anyway, I'm downtown, keep my cars there too. Let me know if you want to get together.
