    Looks like I'm headed to the Chattanooga area, actually Soddy Daisy, TN. Can anyone recommend a reputable service shop or good mechanic in the area?

    Also, any tips on getting through emissions testing?

    Only 2 places that I know of in town that could do the work. Bavarian Automotive and Import Motorworks, both are basically on the other side of Chattanooga from where you'll be. As far as testing, it's pretty straight forward. They stick a mirror under your car to look for a cat and if you're OBD I you get the sniff test, while OBD II gets plugged into the scanner. Hope you can make it out to our cars and coffee events on the last Saturday of every month.
